We raised a horse shed to bring it above grade providing a dry space for the horses.

This horse shed had been installed level but was below grade so it was prone to having water in it. This was an issue for the horses who didn't want to stand in water and the owners who did not want their investment in a shed to decompose prematurely to the elements. We raise the pad about two feet and created a gradual entry ramp for the horses. We had a blast doing the job and the horses were very supportive (perhaps because we gave them lots of carrots). We moved a lot of dirt on this one, but the horses seemed happy and it was worth the extra effort.
