I stayed in the old village of icelmer. Very nice. Loved it from day one. Lots of walking we did and it was hot. The locals lovely. We stayed in an apartment. Like to do our own thing. Don't like hotels. U restricted. Get in an apartment and go explore and eat the local food and shop at the local street markets. It really feels like u are actually one of the locals. It seemed we were there for much longer than two wks also. As we did so much whilst there. Lot of boat trips. Yours etc.

Do you know if XXL is the bigger size they do on clothing or is there bigger sizes ?
also everything is marked up in sterling pounds can you still pay them in lira ? Would the boat taxi be cheaper than getting in a reg Traxi cab?

They do larger sizes.They do accept lira it’s in £’s cause of exchange rate.Boat taxi was 100TL (£5) and bus was 15TL (75p) both per person one way.Don’t know about taxis

100 lira each way yes.And yes every hour.First taxi 10.00am from marmaris

Just get the yellow bus which goes all around marmaris to icemeler for 10 lira much cheaper they come every 10 minutes

We ate everything Turkish whilst there also. Why would u want English food in a foreign country. Eat their food. It is much better for you. Their diet is very healthy. Much healthier than English food.
