Been going to Turkey for years like going to Spain but can't beat the people in Turkey so friendly as you say Kevin it's the flight time an the transfer time ❤❤
Yip big drawbacks
Flight times about same as from Glasgow to Tenerife surprisingly. 1hr 20 private transfer from Dalaman to Icmeler is there difference . Not sure on Tenerife transfer times depending on resort .
@Kevin-l4 15 mins transfer tenerife but big difference is the flight times also.

It's facing dalaman Airport going home security is an absolute nightmare, now I know airports are expensive at the best of times but dalaman takes the absolute piss dear is not the word the wee shop just outside the main terminal door took £35 off me for 2 bottles of miller last September just be very wary

Kevin, the way you have presented the places you have visited in Turkey ( and Rhodes/ Lindos) is such a credit to you. I think the local tourist board in these places should really provide a few free holidays to you. You have really shown the friendliness of the locals, when the media in GB for some reason always seems to paint such a negative picture of Turkish people . Practically everyone you have met , whether you are giving them custom or nor, has been polite and happy. Mind you, without fail you are always polite to them. If they are putting on an act they must be bloody good actors . We’ll forget about that miserable orange juice seller in Lindos and that naughty dog( Norman ‘ bites yer legs’ ) though😂

Greenhouse is one off the best clothes stops in icmeler . Run by a Scottish woman ,or was last year . The champagne restaurant is also one of best eating places in town both next to each other . The square is the centre of things in Icmeler. Down towards where your apartment is florida bar. It's probably busiest cheapest eating places in the resort ,especially for cheap massive fry up breakfasts . Couple of years ago it was £1 it's maybe 3 quid now .

Just to say. We never ever fancied turkey. We went in June this to icmeler. And it’s the best place we’ve ever been to. The food is amazing the people unbelievably friendly the place is spotless .transfer from dalaman is 90 min . No matter where u go for food it will be good. There’s so many restaurants. But our fav was the waterfall. Amazing.! And the 3 bells sports bar is still there. Booking already for nxt yr

Just to add on one of your vids outside k corner . At the junction. U looked over the Rd. And said . I don’t think there’s much up there. !! There are loadsa bars and restaurants up there. “The romance “ was one of our fav places to eat. Wembley bar. 3 bells sports bar. Townhouse steakhouse. Meryem. The love star. Karas.sidiks family restaurant to name a few. And there’s many more . Only one thing for it. You’ll have to go back 😎
Marmaris is a special place Kevin it's never a place you visit once some people have been going back twenty years I visited for the second time this year it won't be the last 😎👍
Been following your canary videos for some time Kev. Just got my Lanzarote fortnight cancelled for this summer and have booked Marmaris instead so pleasantly surprised to see you out and about in Turkey aswell quality!
