How Arthur is still coach after 11 years is truly unbelievable
At least, he led them to a grand final. He's still coaching Eels coz he has full support from the board. Plus, I think he's the only man that's equipped to coach Eels.
I think it’s time for a change, the team is going backwards. Crucial signing mistakes and the same game plan every week isn’t working. Sivo can’t do the Melbourne rush defence and the power game doesn’t suit our forwards.

Watched the game n look at the match stats, the Eels dominated the game n should've won. But they didn't win, WHY? Poor attacking tactics n last tackle options? Lack of sparks/creativity in the backline? Mistakes at critical points? Bad defensive structures? I think it's all of the above. The match against Panthers earlier this season had a similar pattern also. Top NRL teams that dominate the game like this would've usually won the match comfortably, but not the Eels. This has been going on at the Eels for far too long. 11 years, n this is where we're at???

Way too many mistakes cost them that game. The will is there but if they don’t improve all the handling errors, brain implosions and loose carries they are headed for the bottom of the ladder.
They tried there best last night. I thought it could have been a cricket score. But the fans turned up and so did the boys.
I cannot understand why people are starting to loose support for Brad Arthur .
This man managed to take the team to a Grand Final and the team plays well for two thirds of the game and then start to collapse. Why is this the Coach’s fault.
Mika Sivo should not be in the team, he is too expensive. Yes he scores tries but he is never in his position to stop the tries which are scored on his side.
The players need to turn up every weekend to play footy.
This is not happening.
When someone gets injured parra does not have a suitable reserve.My opinion the team needs fresh blood on the field.
I don't think it's a personnel/players issue, it's BA's poor defence tactics for years. It's not the just the left edge (Mika's), it's also the right edge. In fact, it must be the Eels's right edge that's has let in the most tries in recent years. The best example of this is to look at the all the match highlights against Souths in the past few seasons. Top teams like Storm n Penrith rarely get outnumber in defence on the edge by attackers. For the Eels, it's the complete opposite. That's the main reason why the Eels defence leaks average about 30 points each game for the past few seasons. I don't think any team can win the comp with those numbers.
Get rid of Sivo,Lane and Lussik

@@shanehodges6980 Dylan has shown he’s solely a 5/8 like Luai for Penrith. You don’t see Ivan Cleary put Luai at 7 when Nathan goes down…yet B.A and coaching staff not smart enough or brave enough to give Sanders that responsibility and chance which we can clearly see now what a huge mistake it’s been to persist with Brown at 7 and on top putting pressure on him he doesn’t deserve as he has been the only consistent player.
@@apolloice4923 yeah like 4-5 bombs that were complete miscues and generated 0 pressure. (especially those that walsh caught in goal 20 metre restart), then he folded on kicking and passed short side every end of set for the rest of the game (which led to 2 errors that directly led to broncos tries) but sure bud, he was your best player LOL

The coaches are too slow to figure out the forwards will run out of gas quick in the Darwin heat with their power gameplay, I don’t expect any improvement without recruiting in this department first.

I’m over this scared coaching. Put Sanders in the 7 jersey and first option kicker PLEASE already. B.A is too scared to give the young guys control or even a shot. This squad is good enough for top 8 easy but it’s the coaching that doesn’t suit. Parramatta is at their best throwing the ball around and being an offload team not this power game play B.A wants so desperately, also this Melbourne defence that Sivo doesn’t do well.

The tigers sang this same song the last two seasons and is the reason they got the spoon. Settling for mediocrity is a recipe for disaster. Unless wins are on the board there is no progress.

Dylan brown should never go near a 7 jersey again or captain.. maybe not even a football jersey at all.. his end of set options were below even reserve grade standards, maybe even under 14's.. not surprised he was too embarrassed to front the press conference.
A glass half full. May still have to the end of the year. Moses is a waste of time. STICK with Sanders and he may keep his job. Moses is the past. Need better forward pack to slow ...not mobile enough except Hopgood 😊😊
