Darren’s hypnotic vocals transported me right back in time to 1987 and watching Dirty Dancing in the theatre for the first time and witnessing the mad chemistry between Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. Thank you so much for allowing me to revisit some of my favorite memories of the 80’s. Just so much fun!!!

From Meat Loaf to Elton John and now Eric Carmen, Darren: you excel time and time again, matching the calibre of some of the world's greatest vocalists (and producers). You have that lovely bit of grit in your voice a couple of times here that wasn't part of the original. Speaking of eyes, the best part of your delivery of a song is in your eye expressions, whether its a wink, a knowing look, the smile in them - or the cheeky side-eye here at 1:58!
Awesome. When you think it can’t possibly get any better than the previous week they do this! Lead and backing vocals were sublime and the drum toms sound so big. So refreshing to hear an original sax solo as well. Production is always out of this world🔥🔥🔥
