1:00. So that's why these P-15s sound like 4/8 port sirens with a very dominant 8 port side! There's 4 long guide vanes in the chopper and 4 short guide vanes, totalling 8 vanes, but the 4 longer vanes cause a 4-port sound undertone. This must also be why these sound much more raw and 'raspy' compared to their Tempest-series counterparts; the Tempest 8-port chopper has 8 equally-sized guide vanes, thus providing no undertones and a very smooth sound.
I love how you exposed the internals of the siren so we can have a peek inside what is usually covered up for protection against the elements. Edit: also can ya make a non rotational test where you have it face the camera with the chain sprocket temporarily removed? (I mean its impractical unless if it has its projector on; so its best if the sprocket and chain that make it rotate are removed and the siren's intake is pointed at the camera and mic)
Question that just occurred to me... do you live in a very rural area or do you just notify you neighbors when you are testing sirens? Do you have to have a permit or something to test them? Thanks!
I live in a populated area. I got permission from my local emergency management agency to use my sirens for severe weather/other emergencies, and testing them weekly.
Lemme just tell you that no body gives 2 flying shits that you’re second so why post that in the comments when no one gives 2 flying shits? So yeah there’s no point. Plus you’re just gonna send lots of negativity towards yourself which isn’t something you want

single tone but normal pitch aca p-15s are my FAVORITE THANKS
Wow, this looks weird, is that the original stator? Without the horn it reminds me of a klaxon horn or a model L

IIRC from a comment from another video it's both. Jeb's neighbors understand his business and I think he also lets them know when he's going to do it.

Pretty loud without it's horn on.
Nice! Always wanting to see the inside of a Penetrator.
Penetrator 10s are cool In My opinion.
What do the controls look like?
To me it sounds like a sentry siren 10v
Same chopper ports.

I have never seen a p15 with no horn it looks ridiculous
Sounds like 3v8
Cool 😎
I thought the p15 was dual tones
P-10 is dual toned.
@@rainyrec P-10 and P-15 can have different choppers but it's mostly the difference in horsepower.
@@FireRescue80 I know, I'm saying out of the majority of the P-10's and P-15's.
@Yellow Thunderbolt 1003A Tornado Siren Regarding the message I had sent earlier, I meant the MAJORITY of P-15's are single toned..
Woah cool
