I got my dream '73 Camaro when I turned 17. That was 41 years ago and I still have it. Keep yours and keep it new!
That is so cool! Love to hear stories like that
I really hope you guys like the car, If you want more vids on it (repair and mod vids,) Let me know!
Man i have wanted that car since i was 3 years old just to ride in one would make my whole entire life i have seen you driving around and man it looks so beautiful even if its not in perfect shape i still love the car hope i can ride in one one day have a beautiful day with the Camaro
Does the 1973 Chevrolet Camaro have a version that is right hand drive?
What is the fuel usage (Km/gallon)?
How easy is it to acquire spare parts for this beauty?
Hey were you in the 509th A B shake n bake
@@boarzwid1002 sorry that was not me.
Dude! 10.5k is an absolute steal!👍 get 10-15k worth of work done on it and your in the lap of the greatest of 70s
Happy to see you got a nice solid and smooth early 2nd gen Camaro. Take care of it and it 'll make you smile for a long time! Don't worry about the matching numbers, just enjoy driving it!
Rock On! Man Sweet Camaro. I've got myself a 1970 Pontiac Firebird
You absolutely stole that gorgeous car.
i like the Corvette Rallies but I looooooove the OEM Z/28 wheels.
I know a guy asking $26,000 for a similar Camaro now. You got a killer deal.
glad to see young folks enjoying this old classic cars!
Congratulations! What a stunning example. GM got it so right with the second generation F body. Hard to believe that it was designed at the end of the 1960s. I like the personality of Camaros and Firebirds, if that makes sense. This is my own opinion, but please keep the original wheels.
Makes me feel good watching this, I was the same way when I picked mine up...I’ll never sell it. My mom had a 73 when I was little, so for me, there was no other choice.
Building a 73 myself currently. Should be on the road this spring. I can’t wait !!
@@jacobsansom3800 enjoy it brother!!
The 1973 is the slowest out of the 3 years of that style Camaro because of emissions but still a very beautiful car congratulations
Ya when they're stock. Mine is not stock!
My 74 Z28 stock would clean SS396 all day and that’s a 74 245hp vs 330hp1970 chevelle L82s were very under rated
@@boarzwid1002 no it wouldn't.
Barnaby Jones I did it that 330 hp 396 was a slob
@@boarzwid1002 oof the L34 325hp. Still should have been torquey enough to get you off the line
My fresh carb was a 1969G agree with white stripes I had it for like 68 bucks and I traded in on a 70 1/2 C 28 kept the iPad so many 85 8692. I’ve had so many I love them. I still would have one, but I can’t work on it anymore because I was on the motorcycle and I got hit by a car, so I can’t work on any cars anymore I won’t ever ride it but the cycle anymore just too dangerous. If you want a good life you’d say off motorcycles cause I can’t. I can’t work on a car anymore. I can’t do bud at all because of the motorcycle accident I didn’t have that accident. I still be driving a Camaro, but this is the way it goes, good luck on your camera. I love you Camaro.
Please meetup with DoitwithDan he just got a camaro just like that and it would be awesome to see you guys do a video together!
I wish, if i lived closer I would try
Please check out the gas line to the carb. Make sure it is metal all the way. Or that the rubber piece is secure to the carb and metal line is not trying to pull off rubber piece.
That happened to my '70 firebird and the engine caught on fire. Total loss. Beautiful Camaro.
I love the '70-74 2nd gens
I'd stick with a traditional Small Block Chevy. On the outside, I'd change it to the five-spoke Z28 wheels and do a paint correction on the hood - carb fire?
When I was a kid, an older kid around the corner had a dark green one with white stripes and Cragars. Not sure what year, '70-'73, or if it was a Z28 or not though. Loved that car!
I miss my old '73 The car started out at a junk yard in western Oklahoma, where I purchased it for $375. I put it on a uhaul trailer to get it home, because it wouldn't start. After getting home, I then found the unplugged hot wire that wasn't connected to the distributor, and it fired right up. Shortly after that, I rebuilt the motor myself. It had a 350 4 bolt bored 30 over, THC 350, Edelbrock high rise/carb, with a cam out of a 327 vette. I had to cut a hole in the hood, to make way for the high rise sticking up, but I covered it with a Z28 style scoop. Popularly known at the Tulsa dragstrip as "Spot". Cause that's where it went every Saturday night until I finally painted over my body work and made the car a solid jet black. Drive it until the tires fall off, then purchase more and go again. They aren't easily replaced.
Hell ya, that's a bad ass story. Wish I could have seen that.
That was my first thought if you wear a helmet haha.
I definitely want to see more of this beauty.
Just live your dream and don't explain to anyone for your decisions.
Keep it up 💪
Nevermind-leo thank you! I agree and you guys will see more of the car soon!
I knew I raised you right Bud!
What a beautiful car Brother, well done!! Sounds phenomenal!!!
Thank you! I plan on doing a build series of the car in the coming months. Subscribe if you’d like to see it!
Just found your channel from some FZ content and now I love it even more with this bad ass Z/28! Can't wait to see more from you man!
this is literally another version of DoItWithDan 😂
I'm happy for all the Z owners and their passion (I might wanna buy one some day that they've taken care of and willing to sell lol) Enjoy the car broski, and take many pictures with it that you can look back to in the future!
I put a dakota digital gauge cluster in my 70 z/28. No issues yet.
I love the car! Yeah, I'd love to see a playlist of the build. 1969 ford mustang is my dream car!
Like the bigger spoiler on my 1970. Mine is restomod though not much stock mechanical wise.
If I get this car I would want it to have the modern technology, I just like the body
Nice dude this is also my dream car I hope to obtain it before I get outta high school
Nice ride. Have a 75 Camaro wide body that I cruise around in. It is not perfect either. Can't stop for too long without someone wanting to have a yarn about it.
Love the sound of that 327. I be tempted to keep that motor! Even though not original its from the right era with the right sound!
Where does he say 327? They didn't put a 327 in a '73 camaro.
mrwp819300 @ 9:10 he mention its a built 327 not original. Check out Ryans new video on another awesome ‘73 That Just got back on the road!

Man I can’t imagine someone selling that car for 10K especially now. Holy shiet man. You’re one lucky son of a gun.
Love it I got my dream car the 79 z
Congrats to you man, more than a steal at that price. I'm currently looking both a 73' and a 78', could go either way, same age as you (I'm 22 now that is). We gonna get it!
damn my dad has an all original 1969 z/28 camaro and an in progress restore on a 1969 ss camaro convertible! Nice camaro!
Bad ass Chevy Camaro Beautiful car 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks my friend, I've looking at a 1971 Camaro!
I had '73 type LT nice car
Bro it will be nice for u to install the split bumper makes it look way better❤
Only if you complete it correctly with the correct parking lights.
Love the car!
this is so awesome happy for this guy hell yeah
I had a 73 exactly like yours, except it was a automatic transmission.
Dude, I fuckin love it. I have a goal to get to the point where all I drive is nice old muscle cars and trucks. Trucks for winter and shitty days and a few beautiful old muscle cars to choose from on every other day. One thing I love about them is that everybody loves and even wants them but most people won't actually buy it and definitely won't drive it regularly. My first I'm going to buy is a 71 grabber blue Roadrunner with a 440. Got the guy's number already. Great video. You can tell from your tone if voice that you definitely dig it. Good for you man, love to see people get things they've always wanted. Nice video. As of the last 4 years, all I carry is nice old S&W and Colt snubby revolvers. Got 6 of them and I love them. Cars are next. Good luck with it.
Heck ya man, you have big dreams and I love it. That’s my goals as well
Sick asf
79 camaro in midnight blue is my fav but this bangs too👍👍congrats man
Gratz, You and doitwithdan are the two motologgers i watch, and guess what car he just got too
!
oh 5:22 nevermind
Thanks Brotha!
You lucky SOB.... I'm looking at a 73 Z myself for $30 grand. It is in perfect condition with a 496 big block 4 speed. I'm waiting for them to get it ready then I can go look at it. Have fun in that car man.
cbrSpeedster1 thank you. Mines not a z28. The previous owner badged it for some reason
Love the car! I'm still looking for early second gen but prices now are skyrocketing
You're off to a good start - Z28, LT1 350, 4 speed, Tuxedo Black paint with white stripes, low ducktail spoiler and center console. However, there's plenty of room for improvement. Depending on your budget, of course.
Thank you. Unfortunately it is not a Z28 and is not originally black. I have a long term goal for it but it will take a while.
What do you have in mind, may I ask?
MLP-Hot-Rod Wheels, all 4 disk brakes, control arms, coil overs, new leaf springs, and shocks, drop it about 2 inches or so.
@@ShakeNBlake509 Improving the ride & handling. Definitely a good place to start.
MLP-Hot-Rod thanks. I’m not looking to have a show car, I want something that looks great and I can drive reliably
Love it !!
I also have a 73 Camaro, it's a Z28 RS
Currently saving up for this car, when I achieve my goal, I can say I'll die happy
That’s a great goal my friend! I hope you get there!
What a beautiful car dude!! Nice Video :) Greetings from germany
Dan’s cost more because his is obviously in better shape and it’s a split bumper. The split bumper is rare. Most of the ones you do see are converted ones and not original ones.
Dude, just stumbled upon this video. Killer car. I can totally relate to the love you got for that car. Bought a 70 Z 4 speed in Aug. 2019. After the video I looked up your channel, and nothing? All bike stuff. What's the deal?? Would love to see more vids of your 73
Omg nice waitet for that video, nice car mate!
Doitwithdan just got one of these too
Dv Nope I know! His is in a lot nice shape than mine though
@@ShakeNBlake509 l like the color of yours better
def thought this was a doitwithdan video at first
Ozzy ya ya... just coincidence that we got one around the same time
Hey man nice car! I’m happy for you. I’d say you got a heck of a deal at that price.
Thank you! I very much appreciate it
Congrats dude!
So sick
Been following on Instagram.. really nice car!
thank you!
Congrats on your car. I have a 73 Z28 , and I also have still issues with my fuel gauge after buying a new fuel float that's in the tank twice, and new cable that connects to the license plate light in the trunk. I also bought a generic fuel gauge to test my connection at the license plate connector and it measured 1/2 tank when its full so that's my drama with the fuel gauge. I got the factor fuel indicator that goes in the dash but I haven't put it on yet till I find out the real reason of the fuel tank level. ground it another thing to check that goes to the chassis. I could be that the new float needs to be check to see if it's measuring right before installing in tank by manually raising the float attached to a fuel gauge to see if it reads right. Hope this helps you unless you resolved the issue. If you did please let me know. Thanks
Sending units come in different ohms for Abody might be the same for fbody. You'll have to buy the correct matching ohms
Needs a split front bumper to finish it off. Nice car!
Wait so why can't you drive it for the whole year or during winter ? I'm lost sorry
Misa Chica I’m not going to drive this beautiful car in the snow or rain if I don’t have to.
What part of Washington you from?
💎👍🇺🇸
One day....
Hey bro can you make a update video on the Car love to see how you’re doing
Demon Samurai Hanzo will do!
im doing a tour car on my 73 4 speed camaro.
That’s awesome!
Why is the back fin off looks a like 70’s instead
Re-paint the car
Do a split bumper conversation kit
Demon Samurai Hanzo Split bumper will come soon. Gotta get them funds $$ up first!
Oh ..... I purchased my 1973 in 1974 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
go race doitwithdan
5 speed? My father got an Z28 -73 manual, 4 speed
Ya, it has a Tremec 5 speed swap in her
If you really bought it for 10.5 you could double your money today or maybe triple that something going there who sales a car that they could have got double that hhmm.
With prices as they are today. I could definitely get double. It’s not in perfect shape but it’s 90% needs new bushings, shocks, and a handful of other things to be a great daily
These camaros are going up in price to ugh! So for the fuel gauge, the fuel sensor needs to be replaced
I replaced the fuel sending unit and that did the trick for a while but it started having problems again...
@@ShakeNBlake509 how’s the wiring? I would check the cluster gauge, it probably has a weak connection
My sending unit on my 73 bronco is out as well. I gotta check those two things
@@gusorion8151 that was my thought as well. I’ll have to look into it again. Thanks for the input
Bitchen Camero or Camaro. I think the spelling changed with the Mandella Effect.
You got it!
That car used to be an automatic
Sick car... But a helmet..?!?!... That's why u need to have confidence in your driving ability and be able to control/handle that car.. while slamming gears
I didn’t wear a helmet for the safety aspect. It was how I was able to record face cam footage 😂
@@ShakeNBlake509 ohh crap my bad man...all I basically meant was, u have a rare opportunity and enjoy it but have fun...just don't underestimate it's ability to put the rear tires infront of itself in a matter of seconds...ps.. I can't believe $10k either u lucky dog.
Quisiera uno
My friend is 16 with a 73 camaro
I dreaming car 😭😭😭😭
😲10.5?!? 🤨 So not a real Z 🤷♂️
Gets a lot of looks eh?...You sure they're not just looking at your little tree swinging from your rearview 😅
Canım ülkemde arabanın 650k olması
That’s a 70 tho😭
“Dude have you seen stranger things?”
Thats not a 73. 73s had a split bumper.
only on the RS and Z28 model. I have an LT model which did not come with split bumpers
no the 70-70 1/2 had the split, u can do a conversion up to 73
Its a 71
