I lost my baby sister to it 6 years ago now, she just turned 53, and 2 weeks ago my best friend of 45 years fell to it... it not the thing you just sit around and " get on with your life" type issue.. it hits DEEP and HARD... My heart goes out to anyone and everyone dealing with it.. stay strong man... you've got more support than you think..

Hi Tim, I discovered your Black Flag UA-cam channel about a year ago and found in to be the most insightful one out there for me due to its simplicity and ease of understanding for a beginner. I am not big on tech stuff, but your channel helped me to create beautiful gifts for my family for Christmas. I wondered where you went and am sorry to hear your wife, you and your family have been going through such a tough journey. As anyone who has been touched by the dreaded hand of Cancer knows that it is a journey for everyone. My heart goes out to you all and no need to explain yourself to anyone but thank you for the courage for posting this (it must have been hard) we all need an outlet, so when you feel the urge to post I cannot wait to see what you have install. Sorry to hear. Keeping your family in my prayers. My wife has been diagnosed with breast cancer late last year. Surgery spent well and now is going through chemo. I understand the feeling of being helpless, but just hang in there.

My late wife died ten years ago. Serious illnesses and eventually died from colon cancer. She was a trooper and never complained. Our happiest hours were spent pushing around a 2000 Fat Boy with a side car. Thanks for sharing it will help others who suffer as care takers.

I can relate. Leather crafting has often been an outlet for me when there are struggles. The world is going to move in unpredictable ways. All we can ultimately control is ourselves. Family is important, but what good are we without our mental health? UA-cam can wait.

I just started my leather working journey (literally last night) and just discovered your channel.
