    I couldn't agree more with your description of "Ticking". For me, "Pinky" is my favorite. I am continuously amazed how good it sounds....and how great a song it is!!

    I couldn't agree more. Ticking is one of my favorite songs also. Great find on RSD. I hope to find one myself. Thanks for sharing your video

    Your enthusiasm for these releases is wonderful. I've been collecting records for more than 60 years and I too like to keep the shrink wrap on, so shrink on!

    This album made Elton briefly a teen age pin up due to the album cover and the insert sleeve photo. That insert photo ended up doubling as a poster on many teenagers bedroom walls. Elton has said that 1974-1975 was his sexy period. Once the drugs took effect by 1976 he almost looked like a different person. He went from looking like a young teen idol to very haggard. Check out the pic of him in the insert for Blue Moves and it’s a drastically different look.

    I have a Canadian original of this. I was going to ask if you think this sounds better than the vintage pressings, but I guess you don't know. The bonus material should be interesting.
