Thank you! I really try to include the things that I feel are interesting and/or important, so I'm glad to hear I'm picking the right stuff! I appreciate it!
LOL $60,000 add tac and lic. and you're out $67,000 approx. All for a 2-seater that's unreliable. I'd know.. I was at the service dealership for my X5 where a young girl cried and complained at how often her Z4 stranded her.
Personally, I'd probably pick the Miata because I'd prefer a manual, and the manual in the Miata is really good. I also like the power delivery a little better with a naturally aspirated motor, and the fact that it's lower power means you can wring it out all the time and really push it without getting into too much trouble. Plus you save about $10k. But if you'd rather have an automatic, the transmission is better in the Z4. The BMW is also a little nicer inside, and if you want more power and if you like that sort of shove that you get with a turbo, then the Z4 would be the better choice.
Thanks! Figured I'd try something new out. That one was inspired by @chasingtheapex, so I've to give him a shoutout! I'm a little concerned it sets an expectation of much higher energy for when I get into the talking portion, but I'm happy with how it came out.
I just wanna convertible sooo bad lol! Nice review man! This is one of my dream cars
Thanks! Nice, yeah it's definitely a fun one! You can always get a used Miata to hold you over for the convertible thing!
Nice review, you include the right details.

What is your opinion on this exact one vs a Mazda Mx5 grand touring RF?
