Always inspiring me to experiment beyond traditional builds. Sharing a build ive been using for a week now. This isnt a damage dealing build and more of a back/mid range build. Combo here is anti dash inner sanctuary with extended range and heavens bond shoulders. The one for wave of light that drops a bell to trap an enemy. Hear me out: its a bk and necro nightmare. The bell works regardless of potency/res stats since its not a status change. So necro wraith form cant escape bell and same with BK surfing skill/essence. Same with saders on horse. Whale or not, everyone gets stuck in bell equally. People can dash out of bell but if bubble is up then they cant. Basically you're getting them stuck and setting up team to beat them down. Or make them waste a skill and drop second bell+kick to stun and finish. Pvp teams tend to already have enough damage dealers so this is purely more support and being annoying. But my assists have skyrocketed. Using with tottering tower with the off hand that increases damage. Bell itself also is a decent damage dealer. Takes some getting used to.
Frags not all in this pvp 👍 I trying this build leater. Maybe I chance too for inner sanctuary etc 👍 and why not traveler pants? i Think this essence is better with little stun 😮
Yeah this build is for old battlegrounds when idols didnt move that fast. Now you cant just chase for kills. Maybe in this lower brackets still is playable but higher one all monks play with innersanctuary. There is not many dh. You have tons of unkilable BKs who doesn't bother about your dots ;)
The trick with BKs is to hit em when they are not in immunity and run after they will take the full dot dmg while immune if they dont remove them and most wont use the skill to remove them For me at least this works pretty well
@@zonshini good advice. I tried it and definitely harder to die now. Also might wanna try invisibility after mystic strike, even harder to target. They fixed the reveal instantly after damaging with mystic strike so you stay invis even after you hit someone
It does work really well, you just don't one combo them Drop skills leave rinse and repeat they cannot heal at all if you keep them dotted and run away right away
Hello, i like your content but i dont think this build could work against opponent with the same level. The people you are facing are clearly way below your stats. Most of them have less than 200k hp wich means they are mostly f2p. This kind of build will works only in this situation. Unfortunately im pretty sure that you would get stomped with that build in higher ladders with big whales
If you ever watched my streams you would know most of my games are higher resos against me and I still could fend off 9k reso players with hit and run tactics with this build, just let the dots deal the work get out get back in Get in get out repeat, don't try to get kills from full HP target and it works really well as you don't have to be there once the dots are on This footage was around same reso and some lower reso you are right, it looks better on a video, most of the creators are miles above my reso so I tend to use good clips on the videos, but this build definitely works against higher resos too Edit: infact this is my best build so far against higher reso players, if we don't count full on support builds and compare the kill potential of other builds
@@zonshini im sorry but im not watching your streams but i follow your content here. You have a sharp eyes regarding the Monk and i kinda like it. I was just wondering why you didnt show fight with much higher resonnance wich is the reality right now for most of us. Anyway i get it if thats easier for you to enlight your content that way. I'll try that build myself then. Did you try it with 4p anghmet and 4p moutain aswell ? Lately i found difficult to play without it
@@Nythrat not with this build, I did try 4p angments and 4p gloom, it's so hit and run build that I didn't even want to try mountebank, but yeah when I get caught I am most likely looking respawn screen after Edit: I felt like the DMG wouldn't be enough to justify the lack of cc afterwards as everything is basically towards damage and dots with this build I will try to include higher reso fights in the future or make a own little time stamp how it fares against them, thank you for making me realize this is important step to make. Thank you for tuning in the videos! 🙏
@@zonshini thanks for your answer. I'll try both then and see for myself if i can adapt to it. Regarding the footage with higher resonnance i just felt like what you showed us was not the exact reality. Especially because the current meta was missing. It has been weeks since i havent met at least 3 vortex wizzard on battleground and i would have liked to see how you manage to deal with them with that build. Anyway thanks for the sharing. I Hope this build will bring us back some fun again playing Monk !
That's why i always check the hp of opponents in peoples PVP content. There are certain builds whales could use but average res players would get crushed in big lobbies, telefear necro, battlemage and any dps monk are examples.
Nothing special about this build at alll. During these battleground games you just went about attacking players who are healing or already in half life, and you are just targeting wizards, DHs and Necros which are the easiest to kill. Why don’t you try this on BKs, crus or Barb? You have also won those games and now put the video on here to shame your opponents. A bit nasty and unnecessary isn’t it?
Yeah monk should target the backline first with this build always otherwise you are just free target to necros and wizards so naturally I will first target those after that you can see me going for other melees, I am not trying to shame anyone here just showcasing the build
He never said it was special User-kl, as a Monk I try to wreak havoc on their casters in the back first, as any good melee should. This is a team activity, not a "look at me, I took out their BK/Barb" activity . 😂🤡

Both mystic strikes give knock, traveling scold is just slower and deals less dmg and cant be used in a row for longer CC
You missed the secondary weapon below the pants

Nice vidéo! Gg, good build 🤩
Why mystic strike over flying kick?
Longer reach and better mobility, so it's easier to engage and escape + it moves you more making you harder target when you jump in and out

For monk I think it's quite good, but yeah monk needs a bit of love
