Following on from my previous video on my tomatoes affected by herbicide (Grazon) poisoning. What are they like now? Have I saved them?

I didn't realize this could happen from manure, glad you could save some, hopefully they fully bounce back. Thanks for sharing!

I’d heard of it happening but I never thought it would happen to me. From what I’ve read it’s more common with compost made from plant matter (from council compost for example) or when straw is spread on beds.

I am STUNNED you were able to get them to start popping back in the same season! When my parents dealt with persistent herbicide it took a ton of effort over an entire season! Growing corn and sunflowers just to help remove the herbicide from the space and disposing of everything. I'm sorry that happened to you but it's very impressive what you've accomplished! I hope you're able to grow some healthy tomatoes!

I’m pretty surprised they came back so well they did as well. I really thought I was going to loose them all. I don’t think I’ll get as many off them as usual but luckily my in laws grow loads so I can get extra off them.
I think I’m lucky that I only had one smallish load of manure. If I’d had more and dug it into the garden beds it would have been much worse.

Interesting video👍. Have heard of similar problems from using compost made from council green waste. Gardening, like life, is a constant lesson. Keep up the good work love. 🍅

Thanks for commenting. I’d heard of it being a problem in council green waste, but didn’t realise it could be a problem in manure. It certainly is a lesson, and just when you think you have it sussed something else comes along and shows you how little you know! 😊
