- Manisha is back to hosting duties this week, bringing you the worst of the worst from the world of TV news. This week, news went down the toilet. Quite literally. We saw a lot of 'BREAKING NEWS' as reporters were on a mission, following the police convoy escorting gangster Atiq Ahmed from Gujarat to Uttar Pradesh. The “reporting” extensively covered how, when and where Atiq went to the loo, providing us with information no one needed. While Aaj Tak and TV9 decided to zoom in, News18 and ABP told us when and where he relieved himself in the course of the journey.
When not covering Atiq going to the loo, our usual suspects asked questions of the opposition. The week has seen Arvind Kejriwal and Mamata Banerjee attacking the prime minister, and PM Modi taking on the Opposition. Guess what primetime play? Meanwhile, Navika Kumar on Times Now spread fake news about Congress leader’s remarks on BJP minister Smiriti Irani.
