A short and quick introduction/Guide to Advanced Volumetric Rendering and Universal Scene Description - The uVolume node lets you directly import volumetric VDB files into Fusion eliminating time consuming conversions. It also adds creative control of imported effects such as smoke, fire, clouds and explosions. You get complete control over density, temperature and color parameters of the VDB file in DaVinci!
Universal Scene Description - Fusion now supports Universal Scene Description files for easier collaboration between VFX artists. USD data such as geometry, lighting, cameras, materials and animation can be imported. Fusion’s new USD tools let you manipulate, re-light and render files using Hydra-based renderers such as Storm.
