I’ve read some reviews saying the insta360 camera on this particulair mount get loosened/ unscrewed while riding due to road vibrations. You’ll have to check regularly if the camera is still secure. Do you have the same experience?
The other option which is better and you don’t need to worry about the camera getting loose and risk it falling off is the Motorcycle Mount which I have reviewed here ua-cam.com/video/3mazvwS1WBI/v-deo.html
Very interesting. I'm confident it works nicely. Is the camera and stick connection screw (male and female) robust enough to hold the camera without risk of it falling off?
It can unscrew while you are riding so you should keep checking to make sure, for my ONE X2 I have bought Premium Lens Guards that protects the lens if the camera does fall, it did happen once so lens where saved. I did test this handlebar mount on my ride to Regent's Park which you can watch here ua-cam.com/video/mFmiO_QBKcI/v-deo.html and you will notice the vibrations of the camera when it's not fully screwed on. Also for the Premium Lens Guards review you can watch this here ua-cam.com/video/3mazvwS1WBI/v-deo.html. I feel more comfortable using the selfie stick with the motorcycle mount.
Mine break after one week.... it's plastic.... you need metal to be confident.... if you ride at low speed on good road perhaps but there is always something to shake your handlebar.... so ....
The key issues I have with this handlebar mount after more use since this video are: 1. The camera can get loosened / unscrewed due to road surface vibrations. 2. Finding a solid bike computer mount to use with the thumb screw is a challenge; and Insta360 don’t provide any recommendations, I have tested a few from Amazon both for Wahoo Roam and Garmin not satisfied with them. 3. To keep the rod upright with the camera for 360 views is a challenge and you will have to stop and tighten the screws at intervals. Based on the above my honest advice is it’s not worth it, instead you are better of getting a Motorcycle Mount amzn.to/3HJpGMR which I have reviewed here ua-cam.com/video/3mazvwS1WBI/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared it’s a heavy duty mount, it’s solid and I haven’t had any issues with it after using it since I bought it back in July 2022.
Let me know if you would consider buying this handlebar mount and if you have bought it what are your views? watch next ua-cam.com/video/VhspDHl-Yh4/v-deo.html
Yes the risk is there if the screw loosens which you need to make sure its tight and the same applies to all other mounts as well. I just keep checking the mounts as the ONE X2 is most important.
@@PunjabiCyclist exactly! The two mount system. The carbone pole seems to be strong enough to road. But I have doubt and I didn’t find a way to tight enough the screw.

That is correct you can see me testing this mount here ua-cam.com/video/mFmiO_QBKcI/v-deo.html and I realised when the footage was being edited.

I mainly stick to the Motorcycle Mount especially on my endurance rides.

So what do you say? Don't buy it? And which gps mount does fit on this handlebar mount?

The footage is in this video ua-cam.com/video/mFmiO_QBKcI/v-deo.html for my One X2 camera.

Can this fit on bmx handle bar?
The product description says its designed for road cycling (not suitable for off-road/mountain biking), so I guess the answer is no.
Don't buy it it break easily, your camera fall....and.... you know what it do....

@@PunjabiCyclist it’s not only the screw the trouble but the plastic of the mount. It’s break easily. It’s better to buy a metal mount.
@@romaric9874Okay you mean the material that mounts the handlebar and not the carbon pole with the screw.
