- About the Artist
Noam Akotonas is an independent Israeli musician who combines in his works influences of Rock, Folk and French chansons. His first album in 2004 was welcome warmly. In the last ten years, Noam performed all over the country and recently he released his second album “ Laurel Wreath Forever” , an album which reflects an artist’s journey full of dreams and ambitions when he arrives at the Big City ,but tries to struggle to find his place and survive despite the difficulties on his way.
Noam who lives in Tel Aviv, earns a living by teaching kids cinema, and works with youth in distress.
About the song
“You’d rather know” is the second single from the second album. The text was originally written for a duo between a man and a woman whose couple went through a crisis, but is performed by only by one of the sides (the man) .The song has been included in the recent performances and arose strong feelings in the audience. This is the first time he has been recorded and released to the world formally, accompanied by the magic touch of the international sand artist Ilana Yaav
