I eventually made my own power button. I wish I could show you a picture but it is absolutely worlds apart from the original!

I've figured that you have to use the app on a separate device and another device for music. It's when you use one device for everything that this issue occurs.

In response to @matthewJ142 • 1yago . A Professional Sound Engineer from the Music Store I purchased from answered my same question and is right with what you say . Blue tooth works In the App itself for the Chorus Delay and Reverb plus Mixer , The Second is at the Device Settings > BlueTooth turn on and Pair with the JBL PA .

Is Your Store an BlueTooth SIG Member .? I couldn’t because it’s only availability starts from them at Bluetooth . I went to the main site and to find out about intermittent interruption of sound so I’m reviewing your Channel Review on this PA . I own One and your instructional Channel Video is A+ Thank you , Todah, gracias, Donka shey😅

I was able to pair the speakers via Bluetooth without and signal clipping. You have to make sure you do not connect any additional speakers manually. After you connect the first speaker manually any additional speakers are to be connected via the link button on the app

alvin jarreau thanks! We tried this multiple times and still had issues. Glad it’s working for you. :)

This was what worked for me. Plus you have to have Bluetooth 5.0 or better. I was upset with issued but still loved them for their portability and sound. I just tried only pairing to one and broadcasting from their and it worked flawlessly.

How to you pair both speakers via cable ?

  • @Poli-IX

    Hi!!!
    Same problem here.
The only workaround that I have found, is RESET both speakers pressing DUCKING + PHANTOM keys for a few seconds. If you do this, the App is able to detect each speaker and get some "decent" connection. But you can detect a noticeable delay in the signal, specially if you are watching a video in the phone or tablet.
The good news: You can use a cable using "PASS TRHU" connector and link both units. With last firmware, the units auto-configure in a "stereo" mode. Isn't the best solution, but you can use if needed.
    Best regards from Chile.

Pleaseee bare with me . When speaking with Sound Engineer about the 1/4” through Cable for an additional extension “LIVE” JBL Eon One Compact Speakers . In asking about the Speaker that had to be a Live Speaker . ; I asked must of been rude to ask . Does this mean ‘ another ‘ JBL Portable PA? The Advertisement attracted me to but this and now it’s value has gone up . I plan on not using phones or Blue Tooth for streaming . But to listen by Headphones this is an aux. send and I use this a lot . There are two plus adapters abound .So now with the brand new Speaker Stand it arrived by FedEx quick from Sweet Water Sound .So in receiving all the many videos here are the Streams You are the Streams I’ve been listening too . Beautiful .A Viewer .

i'm having the same problem.. I can get them to connect but they sound like crap when you stream bluetooth to them.

I’ve been having the same problems, even with the playing thur one speaker I keep getting the signal dropping out... I’m using the newest iPhone too.... I contacted JBL pro and they were absolutely useless. (they actually told me I shouldn’t relay on the bluetooth to be 100% wtf?). Ironically I have no issues with my little jbl sound bar nor jbl flip (small portable speaker). One would think since this is the professional version it should connect at least as good as their cheaper products.

To Daniel 2 years ago ( Edited ) you are right . Somewhere at the main official JBL Harman Corporation UA-cam Channel . Incredible findings . Two years ago . Now it’s 2023 . Doesn’t the power requirement to actually use BlueTooth a universal one ? I wonder who would give a go or answer From Bluetooth Developer or in charge . Now this would byepass all my comments 😅. Wiring is powerful but sound travels in waves , but radiated energy is different ,are you available for comment ? Has your project been answered ? There must be a manual from the Source to add to each Product with this Feature . It’s these thoughts of mine no condemnation . A reply from Mike . Thanks Daniel for the Comment you made as my project was addressed and I fixed it ! AudioZ!Give a Praise to the Lord !

Can you play aux cable with iPhone and then connect to of these together ? With a wire

Yes my phones both cut out also iPhone 12Pro and Samsung . Would you check the Sales Product Guide and scroll all the way to Accessories . There JBL offers two barrel end Power Cables not Blue Tooth or the App . It bugged me big time to just listen to the breaks in the music .So the options are evident at your instructions ( here I can listen up to your Channel ) you just said if that connection option was available .Yes , I just purchased the 70 Watt 5V to9V barrel Cable . Now here is an Connectivity to all JBL DOD /AKG wireless Products . So check into these options would you ? The second is 70 Watt 5V to 12V Cable both have the barrel end I think the tip is negative ground positive and not positive ground negative . Kind of obnoxious at my intrusive comment . But this has stopped the need to follow the steps to Stop the intermittent breaks in Sound replication . A couple of points here : 1.) Go to Settings on Device affected then touch on Volume and , clearing the Cache at any App that’s running background as I cleared the Cache on one UA-cam and then checked and it was still a running but the JBL Eon One Compact can be reinstalled . This helps me .Still I like your style of Presentation and take notes .I did set the past Demo at the JBL EON ONE Compact app , it has to be this One., there’s the Firmware Update feature . But the first time it broke up at my phone that was at full power , the steps I took actually did affect the PA so when I turned it on the next time it was so booming I couldn’t control my own sound . This is an excellent PA straight out and we can also just run a Dynamic or a Condenser Mic power . In this Review you straightened some things for me personnally about The Product Guide Step for Blue Tooth paste ing in your songs or excercise regiment button . 😅. There’s also the Specs available at most Search Bars to download or reload the solid connectivity as well as you know . I bet you excell at past this Video . Thanks and good day .

Can we use the pass thru to connect to a Non JBL Speaker?

    • @beejetay

Yes. That's my setup for larger gigs. Pass thru into a QSC k12 via a 1/4" TRS to XLR male cable

Ive read that your connecting device needs BT v5.0 to avoid this problem? Mine has this version and works fine.

In the app store it says that
All fixes work only with speakers having firmware version 5.1.4."
How do you update? Latest firmware is available for me is Version 1.0.4

I can confirm the issue with two speakers connected through the JBL app. Audio is clipping constantly, basically this mode in unusable for me as for now

    • @Poli-IX

A workaround: Use a cable in the "PASS THRU" connector and link with the second speaker using LINE imput (CH3). With last firmware, the result is stereo.

Are you using Blutooth 5.0? I have read that you need to connect with a device that has Blutooth 5.0 and this problem will go away. If your phone or tablet is an earlier version, that may be the problem. Mine is V5.0 and I have no problems. Hope this sorts it for you?

Problems with the power button seem to be a common fault with these. I have had one now for about 6 months and mine wasn't switching on so I opened it to have a look and just cannot believe they would put such a dinky power button in what is supposed to be a quality speaker. If I have had know I would never have bought this nor would I ever buy another one!

i have 4 of these. I spent an entire day trying to make them work and then finally spoke to a tech at Harman who told me straight up, "As of right now (July 2021) no, you can't pair speakers through Bluetooth." And then that they "hope they'll find a way to make it work at some point in the future". I have no idea how people are getting theirs to work if the company that makes them says they don't have firmware to make it possible?

    • @paulneedham9885
      @paulneedham9885 3 роки тому

They connect through the app and your device not directly between each other using bluetooth. Thats what he probably meant.

What if you have fat fingers and they don’t turn the control knobs or dim eyes or dull of hearing . This is not my playground to insult anyone . When I can stream there is. a Team , you may not agree with me . But from the Time Zone Proximity Effect this can be outright a whole lot of Fun .🎉

The Guide also provides a link for the entire 92 page I believe Manual which states to hold the Main Power Button for 1 Second . That I have learned . Then after a few seconds the green light comes on then shortly after the Blue Tooth Availability Sound rings da da DA. Plus Volume must be at entirely to the Left . Then I found to Power Off the PA , thanks for your Channel by the way , I held it according to the Manual not the Guide Steps , ok ? So I held it in for the count 1-2-3and even 4 then the green lights went out or Power Off . Then there is the JBL-eon-one-portable -pa . Yes , it’s good to go Thanks Pro ,, ok ? Band On The Run …Gotta Go!!!!!😅
