One of the most significant and cherished landmarks on the island is the Big Buddha in Phuket. With a height of 45 meters, the enormous image can be viewed from Phuket Town and Karon Beach as well as the Nakkerd Hills between Chalong and Kata.
With expansive panoramas over Phuket Town, Kata, Karon, Chalong Bay, and more, the elevated position offers the best 360-degree views of the island. It is a must-see island location and is accessible by a meandering 6-km road going from Phuket's main roads.

A it's ao big I could see it before I got there in the taxi all the way far away. Taxi driver was pointing at it. I said damn man.. I can see it from here..
