his podcast and skits are always fantastic but honestly his stand up is pretty bad. He seems to focus on things that might appeal to the most possible people and the jokes fail most of the time because 1) he doesn't like the joke he's telling 2) the crowd doesn't like it either because he didn't work them well. I think he's on the same stage Louis CK was almost two decades ago, where he would write jokes thinking about the audience and not stuff that he personally finds humorous. Hopefully Tim breaks out of that trend cause I can't think of a funnier person in podcast right now apart from Theo Von
@@vabp8985 Certainly think Tim has the comedic ability to be somewhere near as funny as Louis and I hope he gets there. Doubt it will happen with the success he’s having with his podcast though and the disdain for stand up he’s expressed.
This is some of Tim's best work. His Sebastian impression is hilarious and the commentary is perfection. Probably my favorite Tim Dillon podcast episode.
Devan is low key comedy gold, in his own right. How he calmly deadpan nods and agrees with Tim's insanity, as if it is common knowledge we are all familiar with and have all heard a thousand times is masterful.

In 8th grade at my school the most peculiar thing happened. The popular group sort of, in a way “adopted” one of the biggest losers in school. They invited him into their little hang-out area during lunch one day. Then he started to come around every day and they completely accepted him. That guy made friends with all the popular kids which lasted all the way through high school. It was the strangest thing to witness.
Tim nailed my archetype word for word as the kid who always has weed, and then fucked his life up 2 years outta high school. I had to pause the video to die in laughter.
I did it backwards, started smoking after graduating. So all the mistakes you make in HS like fucking up your life had real consequences instead of mild ones.
