Why is there one guy making actually good videos on stalcraft I have been trying to find good guides on the game and this channel is the only one who has good guides.
I dont agree with your advice regarding plates, I want to get your opinion on WHY I dont agree. The difference between Ceramic's 100% bullet resistance and Composite's 50% resistance is MASSIVE Especially as a solo player they seriously feel like a crutch. Every time ive been caught out in the open,OR CAMPED, Ive been able to make it to cover and swap plates for a re-engagement. I have not been able to do that with composite plates. I run around with 4 ceramic plates total. Ive gotten used to swapping them in when they break during combat. Once you get used to swapping the plates out, BEFORE they break, you will NEVER go back to composite. The cost increases and its one more thing to pay attention to, but the massive difference it makes more than makes up for it. Weight is increased too due to carrying several plates with you That is the way its been working for me,what do you think? I might be really wrong, I dont know lol. I have no idea what the veteran russians are running either
I agree that ceramics are better, but composites are well rounded, they won’t just break on you and unless you plan on going somewhere with stalkers/bandits around you then you’ll be perfectly fine with composites, I do carry an extra ceramic plate on me though for the cases where the enemy is camping the exit. But for general use you get more out of composites when dealing with npcs. Npcs will break that ceramic so easily and now you’ll have to deal with the sudden damage increase you weren’t expecting.
@@dionagona8205 Oh I totally agree. Ive gotten used to switching my plates FAST though, and I never peek without 50%+ on the plate. I do something similar to you, where I run ceramics constantly and keep a composite plate for situations with a LOT of human npcs as opposed to keeping 1 ceramic for exits. The much bigger danger in the zone is other players by far, so to me I feel its more effective to literally always be ready for that one bandit who sits in a bush at forest/ DV
ah sry didnt saw this comment. I Personally using ceramic when i go gank enemies on their maps or if i am farming far to the north. But when am farming near bar / military warehouse then i am using composite, because there are many shooting mobs and sometimes ceramic got destroyed before i even see mobs. Best example is the forest map for stalkers, theres tons of zombies and ceramic got usually destroyed in first minute of running there. overall ceramic is better, will save life more often but cost is much higher than composite :D
i ended main story second day after the release 😆overall i got like 250h in game but many of this time was spended to record videos so we can say that around 200h
17:18 120+100=220 dmg that u need to take to lose 100hp, sorry for editing mistake
