People are getting down on IGOR, like what? The guy literally is playing alone on his end, Fox, Miller, Trouba, Jones, Ling etc...are all playing horrible on their end. They are playing as if waiting for the next guy to do the dirty work so they can fly out of the zone for a scoring chance. This defense is worse than the pairings I used to see under Henriq. To that end, the entire team has reached it's peak ability, it can't get passed teams like Florida because we lack the grit, size and will to beat them in a series. Drury didn't make any moves the last few years because he signed himself into a corner with those awful contracts, even Laffy's contract is impulsive because we still don't really know if Laffy is going to play to his potential, especially if the assets around him like Mika, Troch are quitting on plays. The team needs to be significantly retooled, but more than anything DRURY needs to go first and bring in a fresh team.
All I know is my liver has taken substantial damage over the last 4 games. This is the year- they need to win it for Sam Rosen. I was 24 when they won in 1994. Just one more before I die please.

Watching game against the Blues was like watching the ugliest kid in school hitting on the hottest girl , it’s going to end badly for the ugly kid. These guys are being paid million’s. If they aren’t playing well , then bump them down a spot. Someone said maybe a trip to Hartford might be in the cards . Yup , figure it out in the minors. Let kids who are faster skaters and are hungry for the puck get a chance . The season obviously isn’t bust but trading Kreider or Mika not way to go. Kreider has been nothing but spectacular every year. Mika has always been slow to heat up . Mark my words , the exit of Trouba or KAndre may breathe new life but for goodness sakes , who’s the leader on this team ? Someone better step up and say something soon before this season is lost .
Drury is an intelligent guy and Laviolette is a good coach but you are not going to win playing it safe. I’m tired of seeing brozinski, vecey, lindgren and smith. Drury was terrible as a ranger player and is not a good gm. Laviolette should have never been hired they should have kept Gallant and transitioned into knoublach. Trading kreider would be insane. We need heart. Stop with the safe players and let’s get guys in here that show intensity and push guys like fox, miller and zibanjeb to play harder. Miller has been terrible.

@friscojones2960 He produces nothing 5 on 5 and is playing at half speed. He doesn't win puck battles against people who he's bigger and used to be faster then. He looks lazy a lot of the time.

I've taped the games on DVR, and would just focus on him/watch him sometimes on the ice... where sometime's I just could not believe my eyes. *A)*He NEVER win's a puck battle. And it's so weird, it looks like he just freezes in time, almost like he is being remote-controlled , and/or purposely loses the puck to his opponent. And if I would have to bet money on what % puck battles he loses, I would say he loses like at least 95% of puck battles... and I don't think that's an exaggeration. *B)*He constantly does these weird hot-dog behind-the back passes in the middle of the ice that gets intercepted, or miss-times them. And also forces WAY too many passes to Zibby. *C)*Besides deflections, he has terrible stick-skills. Maybe this is why he is so quick to get rid of the puck, many times unjustifiably; because I've noticed he would be wide open with the puck -- and force passes to his teammates with tight defenders on them. And sometimes these team-mates would be so surprised that he passed to them, that they wouldn't be ready for it. or looking at him. *D)*He has gotta be the Fastest/Slow-guy and the Strongest/Weak guy I have EVER seen in ANY sport EVER!... Every one knows he is one of the fastest skaters in this league, but he NEVER utilizes his speed... he's always stuck in like 1st gear.... and I don't think people realize how incredibly strong he is.... pound for pound he is probably one of the strongest... but he never utilizes his strength, especially along the boards. This is what I mean when he has lost his heart. *E)*I remember years ago, watching SAPS sports, and many times he would be yelling at the T.V.... "Kreider, What the hell are you doing?..this dude looks SO LOST on the Ice."... But now I know what he means.. He constantly gets out of structure, plays lazy defense, and really doesn't defend as well as you may think. *F)* He looks like he is really scared throw the body, or hit someone -- and his biggest & best hits is with his butt... lol. People that have really watched him know what I'm talking about. *[Conclusion]:* The only think Kreider is really good at is scoring net-front goals. But this is only one aspect of the game. The rest of his game has been terrible.

@ you are obviously the one who hasn’t watched the games. Kreider scores, kills penalties and without him our PP is terrible.
