I heard this song in the early 1990's while touring beautiful Nepal with my Dad as a kid. I remember having completely fallen in love with the song, so much so I had bought a cassette which included this song at that time, although I didn't speak Nepalese and still don't. Music has no barriers. Listening to it here after decades and it brings back such wonderful memories of my travels with my Dad.

One of the most beautiful compositions. This song reminds me of all my beautiful days in Nepal, Sikkim, Darjeeling and Kalimpong. I have traveled throughout Nepal during childhood with my family and also lived in Sikkim, as a result I can speak Nepali and understand it, and hence deeper appreciation of the lyrics and song.
