Idk guys i respect your takes, but i just think this trade makes too much sense. He already has chemistry w jayden, hes young, we have the cap space, jayden still on his rookie deal so if u frontload aiyuks money bfor jaydens deal is up it won’t effect u, And cap space will be WAY higher by then, even to still sign Terry again, Adam literally drafted him, we need another dog at wr, he opens things up for not only jayden but Jahan as well especially to thrive in the slot, in this current nfl u have to go for it when you star qb(we all hope) is on their rookie deal, insulate the young qb with studs 3 or more studs all over the field and just let him loose, u see it all around the league on winning teams. Adam knows that that’s why he’s traded for big names players(mccaferey) when he didn’t really need to but he knew it would help Purdy in SF. I hope they have the same outlook here, adding a guy like aiyuk instantly makes us the number 2 team in the division to me behind Philly, it’s time to go after it, i know it doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen bcus we’re “just Washington” and we can’t have nice things lol but with Adam’s rep around the league along with DQ teams wouldn’t mind working with us. Make it happen Adam!! Give us a truly dynamic offense for the first time in my lifetime! Literally..
@@ChaosKnuxxx theres no lt available for trade that’ll truly make a difference other than maybe u can get trent from sf bcus his contract is probably going to be to much for them to afford but if u can get trent thats the only lt im dropping picks for

Aiyuk is one of the best route runners in the league & one of the best blockers. Not to mention the instant chemistry with Jayden Daniels.... Let's keep it 💯 Washington only got 1 legit known WR in Terry, hope Dotson will be a good #2, hope Luke McCaffrey pan out. The WR room is not as strong add Aiyuk and team would have a legitimate WR duo that would stack up to any in league, like AJ Brown & Smith, Chase & Higgins, Hill & Waddle
@@Highspeed30 Rome wasn't built in 1 day. It's not gonna be free to obtain Aiyuk. And JD was a freshman when Aiyuk was a senior, explain this "instant connection" theory better.

@Highspeed30 I'm a fan of Aiyuk. I just don't see how off-season workouts = automatic chemistry and success, or why it would dictate a front office and it's personnel decisions. Plenty of athletes across every sport work out together during off-season. When I look at next year's free agency, and college WRs that will be getting drafted, I see better options than 28 million/ year + loss of a 2nd round pick.
Considering LT is our weakness with a rookie QB. aiyuk+Terry forces teams to play more 3-4 than they want. Opens up run lanes and reduces QB pressure imo
Nope. It would make sense if they were in position to be a contender, but they’re not. Not at this moment anyways. If that changes before the trade deadline, then that’s a different story…
Aiyuk will finish the year a 49er. Next season is when it becomes interesting. I still think we need a bigger guy to really complete the wr room so I'd be looking at 6'4"+ fast receivers more than 6' even guys but talent is talent. I'd trade Dotson for aiyuk but I doubt that's on the table.
@@dmvbay2535 somehow I doubt he'll be available when we pick and even if he is, well likely go pass rusher over wide out. This year was the year to go wide out.
I think the path to Aiyuk is you hope he doesn’t get a deal done this year, Jayden balls, and you spend big on him next year. Or, even better case, Jahan balls out and you don’t need him.
Aiyuk's agent say around 30M. Terry is 15M. Trade Terry for Aiyuk, give Aiyuk 27M 1st year, 30M year 2-4/5. Thats around 12-15M off cap space. It instantly makes us better. He is younger, taller, stronger and locked in long term. The ONLY thing that would stop ME from doing it is keeping enough $$ for a LT like Bakhtiari. This would boost excitemnt of fans, JD, and make him feel team has done everything possible. IF the friendship is that strong JD may get him to agree. Aiyuk is rated #10-19 depending which poll, Terry is 22-38.

@williambontrager2349 ok, if we're going to overpay for an aging Terry as a reason not to sign a younger, better player it doesn't make sense to me. That's the type of decision that has always left this team sucking.
@@thefootmodel3482 so having Terry who is 28 for half the salary of aiyuk for two more years is over paying? I'm not even certain that aiyuk is better than Terry.
@williambontrager2349 he's already 29 around when season starts and under contract next year when he'll be 30. I see no point paying a 31 year old WR big money. That's what losing teams do. You won't be able to convince me otherwise.
@@thefootmodel3482 that's two years away lol maybe you pay him and maybe you draft a rookie or get a free agent in two years.
