So if she wants, she can go out and be independent, can see whomever she wants and be out as late as she wants. If mom decides to continue to take care of her ADULT daughter, than miss daughter better not take advantage of mom's trust by not only lying to her, but USING her car to see the boyfriend she was forbidden to see.

She is probably content with the fact that her daughter is getting a reality check. While she isn’t a full grown adult (19 may be legal, but is not a mature age), she is old enough and should be more cognizant of her actions and decisions. She is experiencing the consequences of her actions. It is a lesson.

If you live with your parents pass 18 I don’t think you should be treated like baby especially if you help to pay bills but you definitely need to be honest and tell your parents your going out or where you’re going.
