I think turn based leaves more of an opportunity to enjoy the music. Especially in 8 since we can reposition ourselves to keep the advantage it's easier to chill and listen to the song in context of the fight it plays in

Yakuza 8 isn't as hard when you're underleveled, except that 1 yamai section, which proved to be a little tough, the one with the excavators and just after that
