That's the same with German :), anrufen - Ich rufe an, weglöschen - er löscht weg, zurückkommen - wir kommen zurück

Dank u wel, Snout. Although I don't have much vocabulary in Dutch yet (will I ever? LOL), I could understand this easily due to having studied some German before and you know they also have trennbare Verben. I way prefer the Dutch ones though.
Ik houd van Snout! Sorry, can't keep from saying it, the rhyme is irresistible, sounding like a dad joke but it's true, you're lovable and I guess we all love you:-)
P.S.: That hair is awesome, please, don't cut it!

aan, op etc are not PARTICIPLES, (as you said they were), but PREPOSITIONS, or verbal PARTICLES. Lapsus?

Can someone explain me why with that sentence: "Morgen sta jij om 7 uur op" is sta - not staat?

Because the verb is coming before the pronoun. The same thing happens with questions. Bijvoorbeeld: "Ga jij vanavond naar de bioscoop?"

Why do yo call them participles?

I think he means "particle", as my German teacher called them. Otherwise, the contents are a helpful refresher indeed!

In fact, they are actually prepositions. But they can be called particles as well, i guess.

@Alexandru Some are prepositions. Definitely not all of his examples were. A particle added to a vard can be an adjective or a noun, maybe even an adverb. But tons are indeed prepositions.
      (And yes, not participles)

C'est dommage que tu limites ton audience en parlant anglais. L'immersion 100% en néérlandais est la meilleur méthode.

Not if you're trying to understand a complicated grammatical concept, which itself requires quite a high level of vocabulary in your own language just to understand... After all, this is also a concept for A1 learners, who don't yet have that good a grasp of Dutch...

Bout is a good teacher in English, but should try to not say “you know” or “etcetera”
