- Hello friends, there are many inspirational stories of people who braved many hardships and difficulties and reached where they are today. The story of Sangeeta is one such story. We really wanted her story to reach as many people as possible and so we visited her new eatery at Andheri East in Mumbai called Sangeeta's Kitchen and listen to this inspirational story in person. Sangeeta is a lady with a never say die attitude. She believes in fighting till she overcomes any hurdle that comes across her way. Coming from a very humble background she started her cooking journey at the age of 8 and cooked in different households for more than 14 years and during this period she made it a point to learn different cuisines from the different homes she worked in. She learnt how to make Gujarati food, Punjabi food, Sindhi food, Chinese food and many other cuisines. After losing a lot of money in a small salon that she had setup with all her savings and being ridiculed by one and all she decided to fight back. She started cooking chapatis from home and delivering to different people, after this she also started a small tiffin service and a small Vada pav counter. All this did quite well, but she was not the one to be satisfied with this success and she decided to move out of her house and with the help of her good friend Narendra she opened Sangeeta's Kitchen. After this there was no turning back. They introduced very innovative thalis like the Asur Thali which has around 30 different dishes and the recently introduced Yamraj Thali that is full of biryanis and kebabs.
They claim to have sold more than 2500 Asur thalis which are a treat for non veg lovers.
But unfortunately this eatery had to be closed down due to unforeseen circumstances and she suffered huge losses. But she did not give and took this up as a challenge and started a new restaurant.
Till today you will find Sangeeta in her kitchen personally cooking and serving people. They mainly specialise in Maharashtrian Food but they also serve a few Punjabi and Chinese dishes.
The Asur Thali is enough for 4 to 6 people and costs INR 2100/- and the Yamraj Thali is good enough for 4 to 5 people and costs INR 1799/-
The delicious veg thali comes for INR 280/-.
And fo not miss their inaugural offer wherein you shall get unlimited veg thalis and chicken thalis for only Rs.350/-

I think they are only serving good , fresh food to you tubers. We had a bad experience. Food served was not hot. Bhakti was stale. Services are very poor. Both business partners are only interested in sweet talks & Sangeeta is gaining sympathy of People. People come to earn good & tasty food. Not to listen to their sorrowful tales & pay for it. Not worth.
