BRAVO JT, you did really well, and no you are totally not gormless. I think 'jiggery-pokery' is a 'cracking (aka brilliant) word too.
Some amazing words used, there are so many wonderful and colourful words for all sorts of things here 'over the pond'.
*HEARTIEST CONGRATULATIONS* to you dear JT and lovely Anna, for reaching 150K subscribers, who I am sure, enjoy your posts so much, and the variety too.
Outdoors, 'Getting your House', fishing, cooking, package opening, the list continues to grow and I'm here for 'em all.
My heartiest best wishes to you from Wales.

Sometimes, if we're really chuffed we say: 'Chuffed to little mint balls'. My hubby was a bobby. Your guesses are phenomenal. Well done. 👏🏼👏🏼😉😉 Oh and the hat suits you. Billy Connolly would be proud of you. Try searching for If It Wasnae for Your Wellies, it's quite funny if you can understand it. 🤣🤣

Jiggery pokery is also used when you are doing lots of little bits of organising.

You'll hear 'knackered' all the time - very common word! 'Boffin' is only really used by newspapers like "The boffins over at MIT have discovered...". A bit of jiggery-pokery going on but I think you deserved your score - you are British now :D Huge congratulations on the 150k!!!!!!!!!!
