Hey man! Great test, thanks for that. I was going to buy the Boyalink, but I recently discovered the Boyamic and they seemed much better to me. The problem is that there are not many reviews or opinions right now, because the product is very new. Do you think I should wait a little longer or would I be playing it safe by buying them?
Hi Juan, thanks for watching and for your question. If you have a good return policy for where you're buying these from, I say no harm trying them out. I think the Boya Mic has better audio internals altogether, but ultimately it's what you'll be using the mics for. Cheers!
I want to do a live stream while fishing. I’m having trouble deciding between these two microphones. What’s most important to me is how well they block wind noise. I previously did an uninterrupted live stream for about 5 hours with the SARAMONIC BLINK500 B2+, and I had a chance to test it. I wanted to charge my phone while live streaming, but the battery was charging slowly, and it seems that the product does not support fast charging. Have you tested the charging speed when using the BOYA microphone connected to the device? I'm talking about long streams, at least 5 hours, and I will need charging. Which model do you think I should choose?"
Pretty good review and I appreciate you highlighting the differences I'm not quite sure if the Boyamic has the same magnetic mounting to clothing as the Saramonic? And looking for the Boysmic there seems to be a ton of variation. Is there a specific model that this represents? Also I was wondering if both systems have stereo microphones? Or does one have to use two mics to get stereo?
Apologize about the late reply. Thanks for your questions! Both have magnetic mounts for user under clothing, and both only get stereo when two mics are used in tandem. And the Boyamic is literally just that - the Boyamic. Simple but also confusing, lol.
TBH, most mics this past couple of years at this price range have rather similar features and performance, so you won't really miss out if you choose the Hollyland over the Boya, for example. Hope that helps some!
@@TheNonTechieTechShow I can record separate audio or merge in one when use both mic? If possible monitor audio in real time? both mic or only merge? Thx
Hi fam, thanks for watching and your support! I have an affiliate link for the Saramonic, in case you're interested - amzn.to/3VNxjdl
hey, nice video! your link is wrong if you wanna fix this:)
Good catch (and fixed)! Thanks for watching -- come back for more new content every week!
Great test! And thank you for that outro. How good is the lavalier included of the boya? is the same quality of the transmisor?
Slightly inferior, but good quality nonetheless and quite tweakable in post.

Could you elaborate a little bit for what you correct in the post-production?

@@TheNonTechieTechShow OK, that clarified things a little more. So does any one gave stereo mics from the get go?
How about boyamic vs hollyland lark m2

For monitoring? Yes, on the receiver end via 3.5mm.

Nope, nothing that fancy here 😁

Internal memory??? It's internal storage. internal memory loses its content after power off. 😂😂😂
Internal storage = read-only memory, so still counts 😁
