My family stays with family in Florida so we never have to book anywhere but just a breakdown of how you choose an affordable but nice location and how soon in advance you have to book. I got teary eyed when the boys came running up to you!! We love our stops from KY to MB. Glad you all made it safe!! Of all the times we’ve been we’ve never had California pizza. We usually get there around 1pm and we go to fuddruckers for lunch, one because we don’t have one around and two we are starving since we leave at 4am lol plus the room isn’t ready til 3. We may have to get California pizza that evening. It just being hubby and I we won’t need a lot of groceries this year. Enjoy!!
That equipment belongs to the Outflow Watershed Project. Year long construction goal is to remove drainage pipes from the active beach, help prevent further beach erosion, and maintain healthy water quality near swimming areas. There’s lots of storm drains etc running from streets etc. it created erosion. They are going to run them out further into deeper water.

I love love love going on vacation with your family. Back to Myrtle Beach one of my favorite places ever. I’ve only gone there myself a few times but going with you is almost as good. Have a great trip. Btw we had those thick Walmart bags at our store here in Jax FL for about a minute. They came and went real fast but I loved them. We didn’t have to double bag anything with those. I think they aren’t cost effective for Walmart though. Too bad. Customers approve lol. Those cute little boys made me laugh out loud at the end popping in so excited to be in the video. They are so adorable.

We always vacation in North Myrtle Beach. Instead of spending our first day grocery shopping we just ordered from Walmart and they deliver. We started doing it when c*vid was a thing and still do it.

Hope you guys have a wonderful vacation! I think a soft drink was left in the freezer last year and it burst. We always stop at Johnsons for peaches, a watermelon, other produce on the way to the beach. They have great homemade peach or strawberry ice cream & dumplings. The Berry Patch has produce & many other food items too plus yummy treats & ice cream in many flavors.
Leslie’s cause is to keep Pastor Bryant from getting into trouble. Lol it seems like a lot later than last year when you are going on vacay! How great is it that you all still can go on vacation together! I’ve not been to Myrtle beach yet was kind of scared to go cause I’ve read some not so nice stuff about it..
If you guys love Myrtle Beach, you would love Fernandina beach and Amelia Island, Florida. That’s where we live! It’s like paradise here you can compare it to Cape Cod if you’ve ever been there. A lot of churches in the area too! We’re all a friendly bunch! We love our Florida life. We have for the past six years! Our former New York life can stay there for we could care less. Never going back there except a visit family.

They moved that big yellow machine into the ocean the week of July 4th when we were there. I asked the life guard what it was and she said they dredge the sand with it. It sucks the sand out of the ocean and puts it into the shore. When y’all were in Rockingham we were over there getting groceries until about 9:30am on Saturday. We went early and got back home so we could grill before it got too hot. Have a blast!! ❤
I’m sure I followed your vacation last year but didn’t remember the freezer incident, but someone mentioned that there was a frozen can of pop. That would be quite a mess to clean up for sure. Have a great, safe vacation.
No raw eggs for me Leslie. 😊 I just bought a huge delicious cantaloupe at my local Food Lion yesterday for $2.00. We have those thin bags at our Walmart also. Hope they are coming our way. I don’t know what that apparatus is out in the water unless it’s something about sharks? Let us know.

Now new york is going to ban hotels from using the little plastic bottles of shampoo and conditioner and body washes. No more travel size !! Miss having plastic bags...wet bathing suits, shoes etc. "Someone's " pop froze and exploded. Hardest thing to do is to clean up a frozen mess in freezer. The rag freezes to freezer! They have outlawed those thin grocery bags in Charleston and apparently in Georgetown counties. Those thicker bags are supposed to be brought back with you and used over and over again. That's why they are thick. So far it's not working! No one brings them back and they must be spending a fortune on those bags.

May be wrong, might be thinking of my own adventure haha.. there’s an Amish market between Wilkesboro and Winston Salem right off 421…wondering if y’all have ever been. We always enjoyed visiting the market. Also lots of apples orchards outside Wilkesboro.. just thought of those when y’all went to the farmers market.

They have outlawed those thin grocery bags in Charleston and apparently in Georgetown counties. Those thicker bags are supposed to be brought back with you and used over and over again. That's why they are thick. So far it's not working! No one brings them back and they must be spending a fortune on those bags.
