- You can say a series of little miracles led to 5-year-old Negalem to get a second lease on life. The child, who lives in Ethiopia, has been living with a massive tumor on her face since her birth. Her small village does not have medical care, but a U.S. government official who happened to meet her decided to do something about it. Thousands of miles away, a pair of doctors performed life-saving surgery on her. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer explains. #InsideEdition

This is a major reminder of how blessed my body turned out when I was born.
For real! Sometimes I find myself hating the way I look but then I see cases like this, I am reminded of how fortunate I really am.

They just reduced the size of the tumour. But still, it’s better than nothing.
Actually, they probably took it all out because if they left any of the tumour in it could grow back, so that’s probably extra skin that will be with her over time
