Your videos for me are a warm, cozy, joy. I love your WIPs, especially the Deadly Aquarium, the Winter’s gift, and Chromatic Dragon. Just beautiful. Great job on the finishes! Love the new stash. Cya in a week. 😊❤
Thanks so much 😊 Can't wait to get back to The Winter's Gift later this year...but I better not wish the year away 😂 It was great to get some finishes and I am hoping for several more next time. I think I might need to allocate myself an FFO day!
Another very enjoyable flosstube, I like you actually enjoy stitching french knots 🤫 both your finishes are gorgeous, I've bought your fox pattern and I can't wait to start stitching on it!. Thanks for sharing your work with us. Take Care x
Awww thanks for the mention 😊😊😊 it was lovely to spend the day with you too!!! I love your Gaia 😊 I still can't decide on fabric for mine yet lol great video as always!!! Happy stitching 😊😊
I hope you'll get to start Gaia soon...but then you have lots of lovely projects to work on! I'm still thinking about the one you started at the stitchy meet up...very tempting, or at least another one in the series!
Oh my goodness, what a gorgeous photo! You wouldn't believe it - that triggered a memory for me, I have a photo of myself in the 80's, with a similar style lace-stitch activity. Mine was shaped like a rooster! 😅
That’s an adorable picture of you. I remember sewing paper together about 6 or 7 yrs old. The fox is so pretty 😍. That flora heart is beautiful 😊. I love your dragon ❤❤❤😊. I am trying to figure out a full coverage to start. 😊 Ahhh the fancy ladies are gorgeous as always. Wow the progress on the one for doctor Tim is so 🤩 wow. I too have a lot of sals and yours are so cute 🥰 I was told you can use a little bit of white vinegar (a color setter), color catcher, cold water and a mild detergent (like maybe Dawn). I have one I need to wash that I will try it on. 😊 No stitching tonight for me. You have my full attention. 😂 I got off work at 9pm. I fired myself for the evening and will rehire myself tomorrow after running errands (the bank and visit a friend in nursing home). 😂 I have learned if I stitch on heavy confetti I will pay for with the frog 🐸 after working this late. My project is the magic lamp right now. 😊
I'm glad you enjoyed the picture of little me. I tried my hand at a lot of different crafts and hobbies but cross stitch was the one that really stuck with me. I hope you find a full coverage you want to stitch as they are very rewarding...if time consuming! I am thinking about doing a video on how I choose a full coverage design but my main piece of advice is make sure you think you can actually really really enjoy stitching it! They are too much of a commitment to not love it. For me that means lots of colour and interest in the design, even if that also means confetti! I only ever wash my projects with a teeny bit of washing up liquid and am planning to give the frog a bath this weekend 🐸😂 It will be lovely to have him FFOd. I love seeing your fancy ladies too...you have such pretty ones on the go 😍
Yup...I started early for sure! And I tried quite a lot of crafts but cross stitch was the one that stuck with me 😄 I can't believe the Deadly Aquarium is almost finished...well, the releases are almost finished but I get fun stitching it for a while longer 😂🪡
Always a fun video from you! 1992 and you were 3! I knew you were younger than me. I was 23 in 1992. I started cross stitching just after that. My grandma me when I was a teenager though.
Thank you 😊 I am younger than you but not as much as that...the photo was 1982 not 1992! I don't know exactly when I started actual cross stitching but I think around my early teens, taught by my Mum. It's so lovely to learn from a family member like you did. And I love that I'm still learning after all these years!
Lovely to have you drop in whenever you can...there's a lot of flosstube these days...and a lot of life stuff usually! I'm glad you enjoyed seeing my progress and my new stash 😄
Omg I love that picture of you as a kid stitching! Those slippers haha. So cool you've been doing it for so long! Love that frog finish. It's so cute! Ok so I've never really cared for the 'rules' series, but your christmas rules is looking so good! I love it!
Oh yes...clearly the stitchy bug caught me early! I find it funny what suddenly catches your eye even when you haven't loved the rest of the series, like the Christmas Rules. I definitely have designers where I'm not fussed on most of their work but love just one or two things. I am feeling slightly obsessed with Primrose Cottage Stitches at the moment though...I keep eyeing up all their other patterns 😜
I was never going to keep up with weekly releases on the Deadly Aquarium 😂 I am enjoying it so much that it's nice to know I'll be working on it for a while yet...I kind of don't want it to end!
I loved the way you signed off this video😂! I think I might’ve mentioned before but it’s called happy stitch in my house - cos my husband doesn’t like the sound of “cross” stitch cos it sounds angry 🤣
Oh yes you did mention it and I love it! I think I started saying it because I was wishing everyone a happy time whilst stitching but I adore your take on it too as it is definitely not an angry hobby 😂

Yes!! Another stitcher who enjoys French knots 😂 Thank you for your support of my channel and my patterns 😊🩷

Beautiful finish on ‘Ken’ the frog! Thank you for sharing, I’m glad you enjoyed it and thanks for sharing your tips for the lettering 🌈🐸💛
Thanks so much for the fabulous pattern. I'm looking forward to FFOing and getting him on display 🐸😄

That's so cool that my photo brought back a similar memory for you. We are clearly stitchers right from the get go!

I’m looking forward to seeing those videos as always.
I'm thinking how adorable that photo of you is! You are a life long stitcher! I adore the Deadly Aquarium! Your fabric is perfection!

I've missed a few episodes, so it was lovely to see all of the progress you've made! ❤ Those new bags are beautiful!! Happy stitching! 😊

Wow, that stitching board from your childhood has taken me back! I believe I may have had one of those, I kind of remember it 🤔😂
Ah, those happy childhood memories! I think a lot of us were stitchers right from the early days 😄
Adorable picture, and those slippers were fantastic xxx
Thank you 😄
Loved your WIPs and finishes! A stitchalong would be fab!!!💖
Thank you 😊 Stitch with me video coming later this week!!
Lovely video to watch while I added the backstitch to my woodland fox🦊
Awesome, so glad I could keep you company while you worked on the fox 😊🪡🦊

Cute frog. I’m behind on the Deadly Aquarium stitch but I will enjoy it at my own pace, like you.
I was never going to keep up with weekly releases on the Deadly Aquarium 😂 I am enjoying it so much that it's nice to know I'll be working on it for a while yet...I kind of don't want it to end!
As always, lovely to spend some stitching time while watching your video. 💗
Yay! So glad you enjoyed stitchy time with me 😊

You're a lovely stitchy friend!! 😊
Aw, thank you 😊
I've been known to use a beading needle when backstitching, especially on aida when I have to go through something that isn't a predefined hole.
That's a really great option 😄 I know some others use sharps/milliners needles for backstitch or beading too, so I guess that's similar.
