Alhumdulillah i came across this situation when someone lost his wallet and i returned it to him and said my religion teaches to return it to the rightful owner and he looked really impressed i hope this made an impact in life or at least changed his views in a positive manner inshaAllah
This happens to me too when I was in a public transport car I saw a mobile phone so I took it an I call the owner she was so happy that she gave me money in apriciate for what I did ...I refused and I told her I did what I did because of my religious teaching .
I agree, what Qatar did was not easy, they stood strong in front of liberal influence!! I am from Morocco, and I do not think we could have done the same, we would have probably bent to the europeans. To that I applaud Qatar most reverently.

The Kabbah....in Mecca...is different.....it was built by previous Prophets without idols.....and was returned to that state(by Prophet Muhammed SAW......and the Qur'an confirms that idolatry would not be allowed in the Makkah and the Kaabah... In Islam .....it is our duty to to invite people to Islam.....not to see that accept it(Hidayah)...as only Almighty Allah SWT...guides peoples hearts in this matter...of faith. Finally..... But those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost." Here is another sample of the standpoint of the Quran: This is a sample of what the Qur’an says about the “infidels” (Christians and Jews): Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them (2:191). Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood (9:123). When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them (9:5) Kill the Jews and the Christians if they do not convert to Islam or refuse to pay Jizya tax (9:29). Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable (3:85). The Jews and the Christians are perverts; fight them (9:30). Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam. (5:33). The infidels are unclean; do not let them into a mosque (9:28). Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies (22:19). Do not hanker for peace with the infidels; behead them when you catch them (47:4). The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them (8:65). Muslims must not take the infidels as friends (3:28). Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an (8:12). Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels (8:60) The Quran certainly proclaims that Muslims must use force to convert the unbelievers to Islam. For the non-Muslims, the alternative to this is to pay the humiliating protection money (Jizya tax) or be killed (by beheading, of course). A militarily dominant Islam, without doubt, precludes the peaceful co-existence with the unbelievers if the Muslims have to abide strictly by the unalterable stipulations of the Qur’an. Maa sha Allah, beautifully explained... Its indeed a beautiful perspective, I always struggled to answer the question " why do you wear a hijab while other muslims dont?" I would usually say I do because its Allah's command but I always had this guilt of not being able to answer why others dont wear and that incomplete answer would sound like I am trynna say I am more religious than those who dont. Which is absolutely not btw. Now that brother has pointed a perspective that one cannot just say "Islam is perfect, muslims aren't " infact its true but one cannot just neglect his responsibility and make no effort. And those who are killed in (the) way of Allah, then never He will cause to be lost their deeds.
Why does Allah curse the Jews and Christians in the Qur'an
Obviously, it is a fearsome verse for those of us who are outside Islam because we tend to be afraid that Muslim terrorists will use it to justify acts of violence against us.
The supposed characteristics and attributes of Jews (and Christians) are mentioned in many places in the Quran; they are threatened, reprimanded and affronted because of alleged evil deeds.
In fact, the Quran is by and large an anti-Jewish treatise. As such it invents reasons why to despise and kill Jews. The primary charge is that Jews do not believe. When in fact Jews brought the bible to the world centuries before Islam ever existed.
Some examples of the Quran's relation to Jews:
Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"
Quran (2:191-193) - "And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing...but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun.
Quran (33:60-62) - "If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the alarmists in the city do not cease, We verily shall urge thee on against them, then they will be your neighbors in it but a little while. Accursed, they will be seized wherever found and slain with a slaughter."
Quran (47:3-4) - "Those who disbelieve follow falsehood, while those who believe follow the truth from their Lord... So, when you meet those who disbelieve, smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly. If it had been Allah's Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them. But, in order to test you, some with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost."
Here is another sample of the standpoint of the Quran:
This is a sample of what the Qur’an says about the “infidels” (Christians and Jews):
Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them (2:191).
Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood (9:123).
When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them (9:5)
Kill the Jews and the Christians if they do not convert to Islam or refuse to pay Jizya tax (9:29).
Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable (3:85).
The Jews and the Christians are perverts; fight them (9:30).
Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam. (5:33).
The infidels are unclean; do not let them into a mosque (9:28).
Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies (22:19).
Do not hanker for peace with the infidels; behead them when you catch them (47:4).
The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them (8:65).
Muslims must not take the infidels as friends (3:28).
Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an (8:12).
Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels (8:60)
The Quran certainly proclaims that Muslims must use force to convert the unbelievers to Islam. For the non-Muslims, the alternative to this is to pay the humiliating protection money (Jizya tax) or be killed (by beheading, of course). A militarily dominant Islam, without doubt, precludes the peaceful co-existence with the unbelievers if the Muslims have to abide strictly by the unalterable stipulations of the Qur’an.
Based on these verses it can be safely concluded that these verses spread affection

Its indeed a beautiful perspective, I always struggled to answer the question " why do you wear a hijab while other muslims dont?" I would usually say I do because its Allah's command but I always had this guilt of not being able to answer why others dont wear and that incomplete answer would sound like I am trynna say I am more religious than those who dont. Which is absolutely not btw.
Now that brother has pointed a perspective that one cannot just say "Islam is perfect, muslims aren't " infact its true but one cannot just neglect his responsibility and make no effort.
