Twice now my Road Scout never shut off like it should have, and it drained the battery in my truck completely dead.
Other than that, I LOVE this radar/dash cam!

Great video. Do you still believe this is a good buy. I wanted a dash cam and a radar. I was looking at the Cobra RAD480i, Escort Max 360 both with the dash cams. I saw this cobra and that you reviewed it and wanted to know if you had any WiFi or Bluetooth connection problems?

Does it need to be connected to iradar for GPS or built in?
Just got mine this past weekend, can you drop a link to the hard wire mount and also does the dash cam automatically come on or do you have to turn it on every trip?

I have a Max 360 and found one of these online for 235. SOLD! Is it like Escort where you can adjust all the settings on the app? I was watching Vortex and they also have an app for the cam called Drive HD.

Im having trouble getting the video on my phone , do you get it from the sd card on a computer or something? Live camera feed never connects with the app for me.

I just RECIEVED mine through AMAZON. It was $300.00 and Chnge. And 'IT' Was an Upgrade to one that I'd had for YYYYYYears that was a Cobra. A belated 'Retirement'/'Birthday' gift to myself. I liked It for the 'Uniquely' Cool Design. Reminds me (And my Wife) of a Pair of Binoculars! (Smirk....) GO ARMY.....AATW!!!!!

Search Amazon with the name of your radar, and put mirror mount. You will find the ones I purchased. It's been a while since I bought these, but they are still there. The cable set cost about $50 I think...

@@ReeseUSMC1 Thank you for your service. I was in for 4 years as a 19D1P - Cavalry Scout w/ Airborne.
The mount is easy to put on, just tighten it to your rear view mirror.
@@CobraKaiNoMercy thanks for your service as well. And I think my mounting process is gonna be different because my rear view mirror doesn’t look like that on my scat pack. I have the forward collision warning and adaptive cruise control sensor on mines and models with that sensor have a weird looking mirror setup

I want to hardwire my Road Scout.
Where did you get the hardwire kit for the Road Scout? I went on Amazon and Cobra's website and what they sell is not compatible. It looks like the wire has a circular end to insert into the Road Scout. The power source it came with has something like a phone jack to insert. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
How big of a memory card will the scout take and what kind?
I wouldn't do more than a 32GB, that's more than enough for a radar.

I just got the Max 360C bundle with the camera and I hate that doesn’t work with sprint and tmobile network for some reason and I see that this cobra 🐍 doesn’t either record the speed of the car smh 🤦🏻♂️ how is this protecting you from cops if you are not really speeding you don’t have no proof.. hate cobra and escort DashCam not worth a penny
