Hi folks. I'm thinking of getting this or the dweller max 3. I see there is a secondary burn of smoke evident there when it has a larger fire going on which suggests they will have a clean burn if used right. I want to avoid tent damage by embers / sparks from the chimney. What is your experience with these stoves regarding that risk ?
@PerryMarshallScott Hey there. This stove is definitely my favorite stove to sit in front of! It creates a draw almost instantly and the secondary burn is controllable from the rear of the box.
We would have went with the MaX 3 too but it was new at the time and alot more money. Now it only makes sense, I believe they are very close in price.
Depending on what tent your using, I'd order an extra pipe section or two and get it higher for comfort.
The air curtain to keep the glass clear is awesome too. And this stove heats up the tent super fast. Down side would be cooking space compared to all our other stoves.
