- This video shows the unboxing and installation of the Brockhaus HEUER Front 160 bench vice, rotary table and protective jaws.
The Brockhaus HEUER FRONT bench vice is a top quality product from Germany. The combination with the rotary table creates a very robust but flexible combination. The protective jaws are ideal for specific and sensitive clamping of special parts.

Дякую за детальний та професійний відгук на ці добрі лещата з доданими компонентами! Було дуже наочно та зрозуміло.

The best vise
Very nice vice indeed.
Thank you for the detailed video review. Well done. Very thorough.
Thanks! I am glad you like it and appreciate your comment.
Good review
Thanks!
Really informative and a well made video!

Appreciated and I'm glad it was helpful.
Goeie video! Eindelijk wat leuks uit NL😊
Dankjewel!
Thank you for the review. Does your audio set up have a different setting? There was a lot of reverberation in the sound.
Not that I know of.
Nice vid. I'm thinking about getting the 100 mm or 120 mm with rotary table. The 160 mm you have looks massive. Are you happy with the size or would you have liked to go bigger or smaller?
My previous vice was 100 mm. This was a perfect size for 90% of my work. But since I sometimes also work with larger parts I decided to go for a bigger one. As you can see on my channel I also modify or make agricultural tractor type of things which are always large and heavy. 🙂
And I also use the small add-on vice as well (see ua-cam.com/video/B_xvSV_9Cio/v-deo.html), especially for highly contamination jobs.
But if you are not working with those heavy parts that much I expect that 100m or perhaps 120mm would be perfect for you.
Great vice, thanks for the video. My only concern is that it seems to be a bit too large for the most common tasks. Looks like you struggle just a bit while operating it. I believe 140 mm. ones could be a better match. Maybe I'm wrong.
Most of the work I do with it is quite large. Relatively large steel parts or timber. Therefore I selected the 160mm version and am still glad I did in order to have a firm grip.
For the smaller work the vice still operates well and I really like the protective jaws for the more delicate things. Especially the rubber cladded and the aluminium ones have been used already many times.
@@NewWorldHoarder That's a very luxury situation you have over there. How did you make your 120's mobile?
@@NewWorldHoarder Hahaha I understand your wife! 😃 But indeed makes sense.
Only for dirty jobs I like my cheap smaller vice that I clamp in my B&D Workmate that I typically use outside. To prevent debris and smoke in my workshop from welding, grinding, plasma cutting etc. (see ua-cam.com/video/B_xvSV_9Cio/v-deo.html).
Hello, I just bought the same vice. When you operate the handle is it hard to open and close with 1 finger? Mine require 3 fingers to open and close. Not sure if this is normal design.
Don't worry. I can open and close it with 1 finger, but also my vice shows quite some resistance. If the vice is new it will require some time for running in of the bearings.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
