That first encounter was really really rude. That fat ass police officer just body slammed him and in my opinion used to much force. Like wtf he didnt have a single chance. Its also messed up he hurted his wrist badly and then the fact he didnt wanted an ambulance (because america healthcare isnt free)... I think there should be a law where if police injure someone who is a wrong suspect the cops should have to pay all medical bills for injuries caused by them. At least he got 350k from it, but its still fucked up

he wouldn't have been charged for the ambulance since 1. he did nothing 2. the police officers did a literal crime and violated his right 3. there's a law in some stateswhere if a police officer calls the ambulance then it's free of charge and the department pays for the injury's.

Is he gonna go superman and break those cuffs and then take on the 10 plus cops that all have guns, mace, nightsticks, flashlights, tazers while he's completely unarmed? Who wouldn't be afraid with 7,8,9,10 people on top of them while every single one of them is doing something to you, twisting your arm, knee in the neck, pushing on pressure points,300 pounder sitting on your back. All the while everyone of them yelling different commands at you. Not all police are bad, there are definitely some good respectful police officers that do things correctly but there are just way to many bad ones. The only incident that really was problematic was the first one, given that the guy wasn't doing anything and just gets body-slammed; a form of excessive force. The cop was in the wrong.
The second one, Silvester began behaving erratically, most of his actions being suspicious; most criminals start behaving erratically before being detained, or arrested, and he wasn't helping his case by behaving the way he did. Most "Karens/Kens" yell, screech, and throw gaslit narratives and obscenities along with their tantrums in attempts to "be the victim" to some effect.
The last ones showed that simply complying with an investigation leads to no negative outcomes. Because the cops have to do their job, they detain potential suspects while trying to obtain the whole story. The idea of being 'detained' and 'arrested' are very different, yet people assume they're one in the same, which leads to the hysteria surrounding it.

Resisting arrest should never be a crime, especially when that person being arrested is innocent. The only Crime being committed, is the attempted kidnapping of an innocent person.

@rustyshackleford7200 if it's gotten to the point where it's you either "act right" or be arrested, then that basically just proves how desperately we need a police reform.

I just... What the fuck were the cops doing in the first video? "Hands behind his back" while holding him down without letting him do anything.... Then throwing him into a deflection! Poor bloke got caught in the middle of some idiots' hot hand. I'm not sure the cops regretted it. They looked worried, but I don't think they were worried about the suspect, more about their own arses.

It is def not common occurrence, it might seem that way because we have a population of 300+million, everything gets recorded and body cams are public record after a certain amount of time.

What reason did they have to charge Hayes for unlawfully possessing a weapon? I can see resisting arrest, because that’s illegal even if you’re being wrongfully arrested, but how did he get charged for unlawfully possessing a weapon?? Is it because he resisted them arresting him when he happened to have a gun on him?
