If the guy couldn't get a good lather. he may live in an area with hard water. Tell him to dip his shaving brush in DISTILLED water instead of tap water. Works like a charm.
As a newbie, my issue has been not enough water. My lathers dry out on the face even with soaking the brush. Gotta keep adding water throughout the lather is what I am finding works best.
Very nice Santa beard with that lather! I think you give us too much credit - we're not that busy. I'm fine with longer vids. Lather to your heart's content. 🥰
@@RealTalkThomas Man, I've ordered a lot of the samples. I got the Agar, Baker Street, Duke, Barbershop, Shadow Orchid, Queen of Hearts, Hipster, and I ordered the full size of Stirling Spice.
Haha ,wish my toy would keep growing and growing like that lather!! Jk bud,but really I do! Great info for a first timer on shave soaps. Honestly I hate shaving, since 2014 I've supported a big beard. But nowadays I've got some skin issues that makes me have to shave. So instead of beard oils and such,I've graduated to wet shaving!
😁 welcome to this rabbit hole of a hobby, brother! Glad to have ya. If you have any questions shoot me an e-mail, leave a comment, or DM me on Instagram. I'll answer any questions you have bro!

You may be right, but I have hard water here and it lathers just fine! Between 130-150 mg/l here
Stirling is such amazing soap it takes water out of the equation.
One of the best face lathers I've seen
Thank you, Steven. I appreciate that!

At least you've identified the problem! Let me know if I can help

Lol, okay. Maybe when I shave today I'll take the extra time to lather. :)
Very good work, i'm from Italy and i'll follow you, Stirling is 🔥 on my fav soap
Thank you very much, Kevin! 👌
My ancestors are also from Italy.
Where did you find that soap holder on your door? Can't find anything similar anywhere.
Look up "over the door shoe holder" 😁
Thanks for this video. I just got in some of their samples. When I went to lather it came out bubbly and dissipated. But the slickness was there.
Use less water up front and load a lot of soap into the brush, brother. If you need help let me know!
@@RealTalkThomas Thank you, started with the dry method tonight then worked up the lather by adding little water at a time. Worked great.
@@zacheryjames_ Great job, brother! What scent(s) do you have?

@@zacheryjames_ Awesome. In my opinion, Stirling has the best soap samples in the Wet shaving community.
Did you film this from an alternate universe?
I do, what gave it away?!
@@RealTalkThomas Your language is written reverse of ours.
@@Josef_R My leader will be very upset with me for getting caught on this planet. I am from Xirmedra. Nice to meet you, earthling.
@@Josef_R Is that all, Josef? I hope you aren't done chatting 😃
@@RealTalkThomas yep.
Why do you need to rinse the bowl after you lather
You don't, I suppose. I do because I don't like to have lather on the sides of the tub for my next use.
What brush are you using and where did you buy it?
Chrissy, this is Maggard Razor's 28mm SHD Fan Badger knot with the Midnight Blue handle.
@@RealTalkThomas I use a cheap proraso synthetic brush, I figure it’s time to replace it. It was my first :)
@@chrissyjunker7207 I'd agree! 😁
What do you prefer? PAA or stirling?
Well, I always prefer tallow, so if I had to say it'd be Stirling. PAA does extremely well also.
@@RealTalkThomas I just ordered some from both, excited to try. Something about you lathering the heck out of your face is really relaxing lol
@@dolphinitely_bro3944 😁 thanks! You'll be very pleased with both. Did you get the CK6 formula from PAA? What scents from them?
@@RealTalkThomas I got the beach CK-6 from PAA and iniquity for him from stirling
What brand/ model are those eyeglasses???
Oh, that's a tough one. I purchased them in 2018 and replaced them in 2021. I'll see if I can find them in one of my cases then get back to you!
