If the guy couldn't get a good lather. he may live in an area with hard water. Tell him to dip his shaving brush in DISTILLED water instead of tap water. Works like a charm.

You may be right, but I have hard water here and it lathers just fine! Between 130-150 mg/l here

As a newbie, my issue has been not enough water. My lathers dry out on the face even with soaking the brush. Gotta keep adding water throughout the lather is what I am finding works best.

Very nice Santa beard with that lather! I think you give us too much credit - we're not that busy. I'm fine with longer vids. Lather to your heart's content. 🥰

Lol, okay. Maybe when I shave today I'll take the extra time to lather. :)

Thanks for this video. I just got in some of their samples. When I went to lather it came out bubbly and dissipated. But the slickness was there.

Use less water up front and load a lot of soap into the brush, brother. If you need help let me know!

Haha ,wish my toy would keep growing and growing like that lather!! Jk bud,but really I do! Great info for a first timer on shave soaps. Honestly I hate shaving, since 2014 I've supported a big beard. But nowadays I've got some skin issues that makes me have to shave. So instead of beard oils and such,I've graduated to wet shaving!
