- Visegrad is located on the Drina River in the eastern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Apart from the incredibly beautiful Drina river, this city has a few more gems.
The Mehmed Pasha Sokolović Most ( bridge ) is a masterpiece of architecture and represents one of the most monumental works of architecture that was created in the period from the 15th to the 19th century in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mehmed Pasha Sokolović Bridge is a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Together with the Old Bridge in Mostar, it is on the UNESCO list of world heritage sites in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Andrićgrad is also a tourist, cultural and administrative complex that gives Visegrad a special beauty. If you are traveling through Bosnia and Herzegovina, be sure to stop by this gem.
