There's a real clip like that in a ww2 documentary. I saw it in a episode of Victory at Sea, must have been one of the Italian campaign episodes. Its similar where a couple of soldiers peek a corner and there's a tank or something watching that corner and plays out somewhat like that clip.

@@com1470 Ha! Trust me, they're not that dumb when you're playing. You can get mowed down very quickly. The mod is really good fun and is a decent challenge. I highly recommend it if you have Half Life Alyx.

Just the initial charge scenes in BF1 at the beginning of the operations missions is enough to give me goosebumps. You got a huge team running next to you. Whistles blowing, planes coming at you from the sky, you can see artillery and bullets landing all around you. People are screaming. BF1 is one of my favorite games of all time. I have never felt that immersed into a game before.
It’s a shame they didn’t just copy and paste BF1 into BF5 with updated vehicles and weapons.

Battlefield 1 is amazing is almost every single way, the tanks aren't too overpowered, there's a variation of enemies (considering it ww1), the weapons are realistic and the graphics are just beautiful

The Console crowd absolutely loved BF1 though.
Sadly no evidence, but in Far Cry 5, I managed to jump on top of a cargo truck and by some godly RNG chance a van with captives came up behind. I proceeded to basically highjack the truck and jump onto the van mid drive to then beat the man senseless. Really wish I recorded it.
Hell Let Loose can be such a beautiful and scary game at the same time. Highly recommend it for anyone that wants a good, historically accurate WW2 shooter!

My movie-esque moment was playing Battlefield 4 with my friend. We were capturing an enemy zone on the ass-end of the map, booking it out of there as quickly as we could. We found an ATV; my friend got in the drivers seat, and me the passenger seat facing opposite him. We ended up getting the attention of an enemy Little Bird helicopter, which gave chase as we were driving down the highway (one of the skyline maps, not Shanghai Tower, but the other at dusk) dipping underneath the signs and trying to light us up. I ended up swiveling around and returning fire, where I managed to get a lucky shot with my AR that killed the enemy pilot, causing the helicopter to lose control and crash -rotor blade towards us- on the highway, turning into a massive fireball behind us.
Bar none one of the best moments in that game for me.
I remember when me and the other two members of my squad spent like ten minutes defending a point from like half the enemy team on a no explosives server. How we survived that long I'm not sure but damn was it fucking intense don't think I ever managed to top off my 870 during the fight
@@Scrap_Goblin Had something similar happen during an Operation in BF1 playing Oil of Empires with my friend, defending the absolute _last_ objective before we lost the Operation as a whole. We spent a solid however long defending two full-length battalions to win the game with our backs against the literal wall, in what has to be the most clutch victory I have ever experienced.
I sincerely hope Battlefield can get back on its feet and start kicking again after 2042's failure

@@sosa2153 What makes me especially sad is that one of the more popular battlefield games, BF2142 which is the farthest into the future the series has gone. Which Battlefield 4's Last Stand DLC hinted at the very beginnings of the PAC, titans, walkers hover tanks etc.
Has basically been written out of existence due to the 2042 story line, all of the countries that made the foundation of the western and eastern alliance in 2142 have ceased to exist for the most part with the exception of the USA/Canada and Russia with a few other countries here and there.

earlier today i was playing warthunder as a b1 bis and in my match i saw a churchill and a grant and i decided to follow and the 3 of us proceeded to become a invincible wall against the enemy team, that is until the churchill got a bit too aggressive and got caught under fire, i was desperately try to cover him from fire until he got destroyed i then turned around to see grant already ablaze realizing i was the last one left at the point i made a one-man defense against a army of light and medium tanks and somehow although lost several crew and a broken track which i later repaired i survived and only one of the 3 "walls" that survived the match
(for whatever reason the enemy didn't even try to go around me they were just trying to get me from the front)

Most cinematic moment I had in a game was in Red Orchestra 2. My team and I were in an apartment building, and me and two other guys entered a room. One of our opponents had set up an mg42 in the building across the way and let loose on us as we came into the room. Saw both my teammates cut down in front of me and I had to crawl to an adjacent window, peer out and fire on the machine gun nest long enough for a team to approach from the ground floor. It was intense
I love how there's all this violence, explosions and death everywhere then out of no where there's just a relaxing voyage on a kayak 😂

The ship was already way too damaged. If you watch closely, it says "destroyer damaged 1", which is a coherent damage value having in mind that those warships weren't as armored as world war 2 ships :)

One of the things that makes Hell Let Loose so awesome is that almost every time I find a good squad there's at least one or two of these moments a game. Just yesterday I tried sniping for the first time on defensive. My spotter was on artillery and I ended up sitting in a tower in the middle of a town's strong point on Sainte Mere Eglise spotting for artillery and picking off infantry. I'm not that good, but geez that was the stereotypical WW2 movie moment with a sniper in a tower defending a city center!
I always get so mad remembering how underrated Battlefield 1 is. Top 3 BF games easily

I was playing insurgency sandstorm earlier and a grenade landed by two of my team mates. That game has amazing sound and dialogue. So, i hear the one guy yell “shit!” And i watch the two of them get blown away from each other in a red mist.
