Yup we have a trip planned for the weekend of June 13th. Going to Mack’s Pines, Arkansas, You guys are invited to join if you would like!! Hell yeah!! We were actually at Mulberry Mountain in Arkansas riding May 1st weekend. Videos coming soon. How about you guys going anywhere soon? Are the trail systems open in your area now?.
Thank you very, very much for posting this video! I just received my brand new, 2022 raptor SE in white/blue, 4 days ago, and already had a Precision stabilizer purchased for it about 2 months ago. Your video and testimony definitely confirms that I made a good purchase, and will help me tremendously in the setup process when I finally get around to getting the stabilizer installed. Thanks again!👍
It is hard to understate, but also showcase, just how effective the precision dampener is. My Cat 700 predated eps. The biggest hurdle I found with it was that the steering was super light. So I called Daryl Rath, who had just moved from Cat's race team to Polaris, and he set me up with a mount, and had me contact George at precision, and he and I worked out the dampener. Another interesting tidbit was, at that time, (06-08) when the quad terrain challenge was a solid draw for utility racers, alot of the other race machines (Daryl mentioned Yamaha very specifically) were removing their eps from the bikes in favor of the precision dampeners for 2 reasons: 1) they shaved 15 lbs off the front of the bike. 2) when the eps would fail, they couldn't steer the machines effectively.
@@DirtObseXXion yeah he seems like a nice guy. Daryl is as well. My rear bumper is one of his off his race machine. I wish the quad terrain challenge still existed. It was a pretty cool thing, and alot of the races were in the Midwest. For as much land as we have up here, I'm kind of surprised/disappointed Indiana is the closest the gncc gets to us.
Man them quads look sick and I’d have to say a steering stabilizer would definitely be my first mod as well. Love the promo code 😂. Y’all stay safe bro
That's what I call a realistic comparison. Thanks for takin the time guys. For such a pricy piece a lot of people needed this info. I never had one so I was never to sure about their effectiveness. They do exactly what they advertise better than we expected.. I'm not saying I'm going to go get one immediately, but I see why they're absolutely essential for racing!
AWESOME VIDEO GUYS ! This is my next upgrade I was just wondering if it helps will going over big roots and small logs and really helps keep the bars straight when going over obstacles like that. Thanks
so why is it yall dont see steering improvement in feel , predictability and comfort on top of jus makin a feller faster a "performance mod"? ive ran stabilizers on everything i own tires brakes and stabilizer.... its rare youll extract everything the factory ride has to offer without one imo
Hi guys I'm having trouble deciding between the pro and the elite version could you please guide me. I'm not competing just looking for a more comfortable ride through my property trails.
They essentially work the same way, the advantage with the Elite is that it lasts longer before needing to be rebuilt.. The bearings and movable parts inside take a lot of wear.. Racers typically rebuild every season but I had the elite on for 4 years and never touched it..
Sweet ride! I was thinking about getting one next summer for another project but I can’t decide if I want the 700 or the 450.... I have rode the 660 but it felt too top heavy for me in the corners, Are the 700s top-heavy? I like the 450 because it has a wider stance and it’s lower to the ground, what do y’all think I should get for next year?
Sounds like your mind is pretty made up already.. The Raptor is definitely different, we're trail riders so we like the torque and taller seat to peg proportion.. The yfz is definitely more sport oriented but it's a little less comfortable for us.. The yfz is wider, the center of gravity is lower, and the seat height is lower so that sounds more like what you're looking for
I took a really bad spill on my Raptor a few weeks ago, hit a down tree with the left front tire in 4th gear.. I credit the Stabilizer for not breaking my wrist and limiting the damage to the wheel a-arm.. They're expensive but worth it.. We're trying out some CCPs too because they're only $200, but even CCP will tell you that Precision is top of the line..
@@DirtObseXXion yeah at my age I definitely need that 😂. Definitely my next mod. I just added the pro tapers and the ODI grips. those grips have been a huge improvement as well. My hands used to kill me after a day of riding with the stock grips.

I've got the Elite model and it's a great product but in my opinion I feel like when you're adjusting it you can't really tell what level it's set on. Especially for the price, Precision Racing should've made it so when you go up or down in the levels there needs to be a click that way you can tell it's actually changed. Personally I haven't got a damn clue were mine is set. So that's my only con about the product, which is the adjusting, there just needs to be a improvement.
Yeah, can't argue with that.. I will say, I wrecked that 2020 Raptor into a log a couple weeks ago and I credit the stabilizer with not having a broken wrist.. I got banged up pretty good but not breaking a wrist or anything made the $600 well worth it
