I am vegan. I never thought of traveling to Vienna because I figured it was just a meat, potato, cabbage and white bread city but now I am surprised at all the delicious Vegan options. Booking my ticket soon. Thanks for your video.
Vienna is great for vegans, it’s under the top 10 vegan friendly cities in Europe 😊. However, the Austrian countryside really isn’t that great for vegan food, so it’s best to stick to the city. Hope you have a great time in Vienna!
This video is amazing! Me and my friend are going to Vienna for the first time in a couple weeks and I was anxious about the food options due to being vegan but your video has given me so many options. Thank you!! :)
@@rahulramaiya5634 thank you so much 😊 unfortunately some of the restaurants have already closed down since I made the video like the hot dog place, so make sure to double check the opening times when you visit Vienna 😀🌱
I'm a vegan going to Vienna in a couple weeks and definitely I'm going to try some of the places you've mentioned, I'm currently living in the Algarve Portugal and there are not many vegan restaurants and options here, haha my mouth was watering while watching the video. Thanks for the review of those eateries.
I’m glad you enjoyed watching the video 😊. In September I spent 3 weeks in the Algarve, it’s so beautiful ☀️ but yeah unfortunately not many vegan restaurants. Hope you have a great time in Vienna and don’t forget to bring lots of warm clothes, Vienna in winter is cold 🥶
Wow Tina! This is such a beautiful video 📹 you just completed my vienna trip research. You should make more videos of food. You're so good at it. And thank you again for working so hard, going to each restaurant and also showing its food to all travellers here. You're awesome 👌
@veganderlust Wow! I am looking forward to it. I subscribed and switched on all notifications to be the first to view it. When are you planning to launch it ?
@veganderlust Great I will be the first one to view and comment on it. Good luck for the editing...! Make it the best video of all your videos till today 📹
Nice work! For those who don't tolerate bread and fast food too well, Das Susskind near Wien Mitte is a gem. Also, Mochi Ramen Bar offers vegan ramen that's a real masterpiece, even better than Tokyo's T's Tan Tan Ramen ☀️
Wow! Just reading the comments makes my heart smile! Truly thank you Wonderful video Your energy is beautiful Can I give you a tip? My observation My feelings My thoughts You are like a flower A blossoming one A beautiful one BUT there is a big rock sitting on top of you 🙏 our mains only in this video.. Vienna looks like a great vegan destination. I just visited Salzburg but sadly there weren’t many vegan dining options, had to settle for vegan options at regular restaurants. Still loved the trip though, Salzburg was beautiful. Will have to add Vienna to my bucket list
Very nice. I really like the vibe of this channel! One constructive criticism I would like to give however is that I would much prefer you tell me all of this, directly into camera while you're sitting there, instead of a voice over. Not say a lot, but just a few comments would be nice. To be fair, you need to be quite confident to sit in a resturant and talk into a camera, and that might not jive that well with you understandably. Anyways I am very much looking forward to your next video exploring a different city. You seem like such a genuine person. Keep at it! All the love, Glenn
Thank you 😊! I have a few travel videos coming up where I speak directly to the camera. But I do feel a bit shy talking to the camera in a restaurant 🙈. Hopefully, it will get better once I do more videos 😅. But thank you for your feedback 😊
Hi! I know it's been a while but I finally got around to doing my next vegan guide video and this time I tried to speak in front of the camera. Thank you again for giving me the tip that I should try it. Let me know if you have any more feedback :)
In Vienna you should be able to find vegan options in a lot of non-vegan places. However, once you leave Vienna and head to the countryside of Austria you’ll struggle finding vegan options
@@marieneumann518 I knew some of those restaurants already from previous trips to Vienna but I went to so many amazing new vegan places! Can’t wait for my next trip to Vienna to visit them again and find even more new ones 😊
Sorry to be so pedantic... but calling a vegan Schnitzel a "Wiener Schnitzel" is a crime. Wiener Schnitzel is a protected heretic in Vienna and has to be made from veal. I mean ok eat Vegan but you would not make a croissant purely out of Meat and still call it a croissant unless you are truly insane and mad... I could see it being called "Viener Schnitzel" like V for Vegan as a wordplay. But eh... my chef's heart bleed always when I see the name being dragged through the mud.

Especially in the Austrian countryside it gets really difficult 😞
