@Quanticco I think, somehow, that the Royal Ballet disagrees with you. If she lacked in passion, they would replace her, quicker than you could snap your fingers.
I can't believe my eyes when I see this video. I thought Cojocaru is more of a cute type of ballerina, but she nail this piece, along with all the strength and tension.
i love watching alina do neoclassical stuff. she has too much movement and talent in her to only do classics i think i would LOVE to see her do her d'Artagnan solo she did when she was younger now and see how she would do it... I would defo spot her for her backflips if she needs a spotter to get back into it :)) Alina if you read this, get in touch!!! :))
wow! that was amazing. This piece is a good example that ballet dancers are not just pretty little girls in tutus and tights, but are serious atheletes who can bend their bodies in ways that don't bear thinking about!!!. whoever says that ballet is for 'wimps' needs to watch this!!!
i couldn't agree with you more about the ballet dancers who have had gymnastics experience. it's incredible how much more strength and flexibility they have. maybe they should start including gymnastics in ballet, just like many ice skaters take ballet to help them.
Technically phenomenal dancers!!!! But, do you REALLY think the choreography organically develops out of this piece of music or is the choreography inertly grafted onto the piece of music? Could any other piece of contemporary music be playing while these poor dancers are forced to contort their gorgeously talented bodies. At one point Alina sickles her foot flat on the floor for a moment. Why was this done? What does it mean? Yes, very showy--thanks to the dancers.
as awesome as this is, i still think of The Incredibles when I hear the music :P I LOVE THIS PIECE ive been looking for it everywhere. She is so skinny and the costume kinda makes her look like shes in a hospital....eh but i do love Alina very very much and shes got the legs of God. He was having a good day when He created Alina
it always amazes me when a ballet dancer can move her hips like alina does.
and the lines in this dance are INCREDIBLE.
Oh my god, she's so amazing ! She's an elastic !! I love her way to move, to dance... She's wonderful ! And I really like the choreography ! :)
How can they criticise her for not being 'modern enough' for the Royal Ballet? She makes this look easy, as she does Giselle?!
Gotta love how the dance critic snobs stuck in the 80s saying the current era of dancers like Alina Cojocaru lack artistry 🙄.
Agreed. They still live in the past.
Amazing!!!!
I don't like this. I LOVE this.

ALINA DOES THIS THE VERY BEST! IT'S AMAZING HOW VERSATILE SHE REALLY IS. WOW!

크로마 작품 중에 가장 음악에 스며들어 표현한 춤꾼...ㅠ 알리나 너무 아름다워요
