I like how when he opens his eyes wide, you know he's using his X-ray vision. I vaguely remember these commercials growing up. I was born '73, but I'm pretty sure they ran once or twice. There was an Adventures Of Superman marathon way back in '79 I think, and I think they threw in a couple of these commercials for nostalgia. The one I remember best is George Reeves looking through the wall into the house and seeing the brother and sister arguing at the breakfast table.
J Kellogs fue un visionario. Gracias por compartir. Un apunte: en la caja de Corn Pops aparece en grande la palabra SUGAR. Hoy sería políticamente incorrecto. @brazos desde México
Black & White commercials. The only way to go. Am I showing my age as well??? When I hear "Google it". I don't have to. I was there when it happened.....more or less 😏
@O. B. Yes, but read the coupon. In one spot it says to send the money in coin but if you look at the bottom as a still frame it talks about check or money order payments.
Got my box of frosted flakes and corn flakes as an older guy I mix them 50/50 in the bowl . Straight up they are too sweet but mixed together , just right 😋👍👍🇺🇸
You're right. Thurl Ravenscroft WAS the voice of Tony the Tiger. He also did some of the voices for the "Pirates of the Caribbean" ride at Disneyland (or Walt Disney World, if you prefer the Florida version). He also sang the song "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" in the original half hour cartoon special version of Dr. Seuss's "How The Grinch Stole Christmas," with Boris Karloff as the voice of the Grinch.
I hope God forgave him for taking his life. I also hope UA-cam monitors stop deleting my comments. This makes my second retype. UA-cam needs to monitor their monitors.
George Reeves shows more talent in this commercial than any current actor around today.
True, he was A Very Talented Actor, more than he realized.
More then Hollywood realized 🎬
I always liked how detailed old school commercials were. 🙂

I had these frogmen......long, long ago.
Theses commercials are before we had Zip Codes.
I guess the Kellogg's Pep Wheat Flakes didn't make the cut. 😁

2:55 It says to send 25 cents (in coin) but then at the bottom of coupon it says to make a check or money order payable to them.

I do that also.
He was in Gone with the wind.
There's "corn" here, all right. ;)
I'll bet George sold more Kellogg's than the Beverly Hillbillies.
I`m still waiting for my frogman delivery , now at 74 time is short . Do you have any SKY KING commercial?
There's some sky king episodes on Y.T. , I watched them and they had Nabisco commercials.
Do you have any Kelloggs Product 19 Videos?
I believe the voice of Thurl Ravenscroft was used for Tony The Tiger?

Wow, so back in those days they actually knew the distinction between boys and girls?🤔
Oh careful the "Woke Police" might get you for that observation!
I miss how things used to b but I hated how I was abused
Relatable…
Yep. I was there too.
why did Superman want to rot children's teeth?
He didn't tell kids to stop brushing their teeth,.....stop making stupid assumptions.
zebonaut- sugar was different back then, It was actually some kinda rubber or something...

Some people believe George Reeves' death wasn't suicide, but MURDER!
