I, like many, try to ignore instructions. This video gave me all the basics I needed. I've only tried air fry, air broil and air roast so far and everything came out pretty darn perfect. Chicken was crispy and moist, salmon was lovely and the heated pizza was almost like the first time. I'm a 77-year-old senior and I'm happy and confident to learn a new way to cook with this Ninja Foodi. Love it!

Thank you for cooking fish, chicken and adding veggies partially the way through. All other reviews are OBSESSED with cooking pizza and french fries only!🤣 You cook the way I would use it.
Got mine about a week ago and have been experimenting becuz we never air fried before. Love it! Sliced up sweet potato and threw them in with frozen fries and sliced up onion. Set air fryer for 14 mins and everything was done in 12 and fabulous. TIPS spray the airfry basket with Pam or other spray. Watched a chefs video for airfrying and said to Always preheat before adding food. This machine preheats in less than 2 mins so no problem. Just ordered the casserole pan as it is just 2” deep and 12” square. Very versatile. Kitchen doesnt get all heated up, everything working out great! Today Costco has them in store for $179 or online for $189. Amazon for $188. I went to Costco cuz I wanted it that day.

I live in NJ where the bagels are out of this world. We buy them fresh and freeze them. I just took a bagel from the freezer, put it in the Ninja oven, selected Warm for 5 minutes and the bagel defrosted beautifully. I then used the bagel function to toast it and it came out a perfect bagel. I love this product and your demos!
I converted my Toyota transit connect XL into a little camper. When I go on vacation I do it in one or two months out of the year. I literately design my camper around the ninja foodi toaster oven. And here’s the best part I don’t ever have to run a generator or plug into any electricity to make my meals. I purchased a Bluetti P2000 solar generator with 4,200watt solar panels. It runs my coffee pot and all other appliances including my Iceco GO20 refrigerator/ freezer and never run out of free energy. I purchased all these things just because I wanted an air fryer to prepare my foods on vacation. Why eat junk food at restaurants when you can make delicious food on the go? This is the best air fryer on the market and the size is perfect.
Bought one last week and love it. Easy to use, lots of functions. Big enough for smaller tasks but can flip up to save counter space. Most importantly, it heats very evenly.
The new models have changed the design of the pan with a raised centre with about an 1 1/2" well around the edge. This stops the flexing and grease runs to the sides. Love our unit using almost every day.
Out of the many reviews, yours is the best hands down. Practically every sentence out of your mouth was informative. I love that you said you could add time or adjust the temp during cooking. About the only thing missing was how you clean it

I bought my Ninja Air Fry Oven, but didn't realize you don't put the meat on the top rack. This definitely helped me! I air fried chicken with lemon-pepper seasoning. It was fantastic!
Mine will be delivered in 3 days. I am going to use it at home but mainly wanted it for my camping van as there is no oven, just two burners and a microwave. Thanks for the good demo.

Toasting heats donuts crispy on outside and moist on inside. Bakes beautifully. Pizza is recipe book was great.
One thing to make this item even better .. is to add an accessory to attach it to the bottom side of cabinets above. Not sure if it vents to the top? But it would give you complete counter space if you can suspect from bottom of the cabinet bottoms.
That's a creative thought, but as she said, the unit gets very hot while in use, and heat rises. Attaching it to the underside of a cabinet would likely be a fire hazard.

I’ve had mine (FT201A from Sam’s Club) for a couple months and yeah, I also love everything about it except the cleaning. The most consistent advice I’ve seen is to use a liner for the crumb tray, and parchment paper for the mesh basket. (I just ordered a set , but I also got a roll of parchment paper from Dollar Tree.) And don’t wash these out n the dishwasher, that just makes the leftover food and grease stick on harder. Also one difference on my model (not sure if the same in yours), it no longer has the feature where the bottom panel can be easily removed to clean the interior. But mine really hasn’t gotten very dirty inside anyway.

Thanks for the comprehensive review! Mine just arrived today ☺️. You've made it less intimidating for me I didn't get as many recipes in my paperwork, though. Only 2 recipes.
HOW DO YOU CLEAN IT WITH BAKED ON GREASE INSIDE? I roasted chicken and it spattered all over the inside while cooking. I tried to "wipe it clean" as soon as I could touch inside, but the grease was already baked on. I contacted Ninja and they weren't any help either. It says not to use oven cleaner (which I did try on one side and it etched the metal). So now I have a brand new oven that looks old already. Pretty sad that they didn't make it safe for oven cleaners.
Yes, it is sad. I'm looking at comments now to find whether it's easy to clean. I have the larger Ninja XL Pro 10 in 1 oven, and it is impossible to clean. In the video, hers looks clean, so I want to ask how she cleans it.
Great video... touched on a variety of foods that can be cooked in the unit. Detailed each function by demonstrating items and adjusting it to the food being cooked to the proper temperatures. Also gave useful tips to cleaning and maintaining the unit. I love the units ability to take up less real estate on my counter while not in use, yet be big enough for larger families. Thanks for the demo!

At 4:17 I was 😂😂😂 It happens to the best of us. I love your review and mine comes in the mail next week! Thanks for cooking “real food” and not just junk food.
Informative video. I'm having fun experimenting with my Ninja. I wonder if inverting the air fry tray over the sheet pan when cooking things like salmon steaks, burgers and chicken thighs, would help reduce the amount of grease splatter like those anti-splatter frying pan covers do. Just an idea.
Great review! I really want it. Even though it’s big but the 8 functions save so much space for me. Because I don’t have to have separate toaster oven, air fryer and food dehydrator. The problem is it doesn’t available in my country.
Thanks for the review! For those who have this, do u ever feel the need to upgrade to a bigger size? Is it convenient enough to use two racks at once to cook multiple foods?
I just bought one at Costco . Made bacon using the air basket with the pan underneath and with the rack with the pan underneath plus added wrung out wet paper towels. Had better luck with the rack and a lower set heat on air fry
Wow! Thank you for such an imformative review! This has been the best review of any product I have ever seen. Will depend on your reviews in the future. Thank you!
Fantastic review! Is this oven easy to clean? And how? I have the Ninja XL Pro 10 in 1 oven, and it's IMPOSSIBLE to clean! By the tine the food is cooked, the splatters have "bonded" with the interior and CANNOT be cleaned off without scraping off the finish, and even then...
fantastic review. Better than the others. The salmon caused me to buy the cooker. Do you think you can proof the dough in it with the dehydrator function?
Newbie and this was by far the best video I've watched. Much better than the manual. Question: When you added asparagus to chicken I noticed you changed to Air Fry setting instead of original Air Roast when cooking the chicken; is that correct or a mistake? If you like roasted veggies I assume you can continue to use Air Roast, right?

Excellent Reviews..! This is only the second I've viewed by you, and enjoyed both enough to subscribe. This was so very helpful. Thank you, and keep up the Amazing work!!
Thanks 👍😀
Thank you for posting such a thorough video. I just ordered mine and am so excited, can hardly wait to get it!!
👍😁
At 4:17 I was 😂😂😂 It happens to the best of us. I love your review and mine comes in the mail next week! Thanks for cooking “real food” and not just junk food.
You are so welcome!
Very nice video one question can I use aluminum foil inside the tray thanks
Yes, it should fit inside tray, not hang over 😁
Informative video. I'm having fun experimenting with my Ninja. I wonder if inverting the air fry tray over the sheet pan when cooking things like salmon steaks, burgers and chicken thighs, would help reduce the amount of grease splatter like those anti-splatter frying pan covers do. Just an idea.
Very good extensive review covering all the functions except one as you mentioned
Great review! I really want it. Even though it’s big but the 8 functions save so much space for me. Because I don’t have to have separate toaster oven, air fryer and food dehydrator. The problem is it doesn’t available in my country.
😀
Just ordered one! Thx for the comprehensive in depth review! Looking forward to many years of great cuisine
Thanks for the review! For those who have this, do u ever feel the need to upgrade to a bigger size? Is it convenient enough to use two racks at once to cook multiple foods?
Awesome review. I am glad to see you used most of the cooking modes.
you're supposed to put the bagels upside-down?
best review and demo vid ever!
Thanks 😀
I just received this as a gift. This is a great video.
You did every single test I wanted to see! Great video review!
Glad you liked it 👍😍
I just bought one at Costco .
Thank you!
Thanks so much 😁
Thanks for the review. Santa bought me one this year. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m very eager to try now since watching this.
well deserved like, Ninja should hire you!
How do you clean the inside top?
Fantastic review!
Is this oven easy to clean? And how?
I have the Ninja XL Pro 10 in 1 oven, and it's IMPOSSIBLE to clean! By the tine the food is cooked, the splatters have "bonded" with the interior and CANNOT be cleaned off without scraping off the finish, and even then...
fantastic review. Better than the others. The salmon caused me to buy the cooker. Do you think you can proof the dough in it with the dehydrator function?
Always amazed when asking a question, I rarely get on answer. Nice review. No response to a question asked over a week ago.
This was one of the best reviews, thank you. I will be purchasing this because of this demo..
😁👍
Newbie and this was by far the best video I've watched. Much better than the manual. Question: When you added asparagus to chicken I noticed you changed to Air Fry setting instead of original Air Roast when cooking the chicken; is that correct or a mistake? If you like roasted veggies I assume you can continue to use Air Roast, right?
But how do you keep it so clean inside?
Excellent review. So far best on this model that I found. Thank you. It was very helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
