Kiko is not only an incredible guitarist versed in a shitload of styles...he also has his head on straight. I won't profess to know shit about the "ins" and "outs" of Megadeth personal workings...but please allow me an opinion: This is one of the reasons why the recent drama unfolded the way it did. These guys lived the life and have grown to get their shit together musically and otherwise. No sense in fucking that up with a wild card. Kiko (to my ears) is easily the best guitarist since Marty left the band. Different styles but equally talented players. Love the solo material from both players as well. Really enjoying these videos. Although I'm not a metal player...I learn so much from Kiko musically as well as how to carry and express myself with grace and humility. 🤙🤙🤙
I'd really like to hear Brazilian guitarists that influenced you. One of the things I really like about your playing is the Brazilian influence. That's one of the things that totally add to your originality. I've always liked songs with that Spanish feel, like Tommy Bolin/Savanah Woman or Al Di Meola/ Race with the Devil on Spanish Highway
As a guitar player you should listen Power metal (1988) about Pantera Incredible work from everybody . The first with phil . The funny thing is Darrell was More demonstrative in 80's than after
