@@qaxcgyujm Sore loser. If the ref doesn't make an obvious call in a critical situation he doesn't deserve to be a ref. Maybe the Creighton guy shouldn't have grabbed Trammell's hip and pushed him in the act of shooting. What would the final score be then? SDSU would've won by two. So go home.
Hopefully this will lend some sanity to the discussion of the last foul call. It wasn't a touch foul, you can clearly see the Creighton guy's left hand grabbing and pushing Trammell's right hip during the shooting motion. If the actions of the defensive player alter the shooter's through physical contact, it's a foul. Grabbing and pushing the offensive player's center of mass alters how he would have to shoot in order to make the shot. This is called a defensive foul. I'm glad the officials had the guts and the professionalism for calling it what it was, knowing there'll be plenty of whining and second guessing. Howl and whine if it makes you feel better, but San Diego State won the game fair and square.

To all who didn't watch the game, the contest was called at the end without any further play because the Creighton player that inbounded the ball after the winning FT, stepped on the baseline. Couple that with the tipped inbounds pass that went out of bounds, which left only 0.3 on the clock, and you have a scenario where there's: 1. Review which team tipped it out (replay showed it went out off Creighton). 2. Review the stepping on the baseline on the inbounds pass. 3. Know that those two calls had a good chance of putting the ball in the Aztecs' possession, and hence, end of game. 4. Know that even if Creighton somehow dodged both calls and regained possession, unless you're Derrick Fisher at San Antonio 19 years ago, you have no chance at a shot at the hoop. Moot points all around, so game over...

Because if that's not true, then with that logic, that's like saying a defender can clothesline a shooter and the refs should NOT call it JUST BECAUSE it's the END OF THE GAME. Ridiculous. That was a foul and they called it right.
You people are embarrassing yourselves with that argument. THEY CALLED TWELVE FOULS ALL HALF!!!! If they were staying true to what IS a foul then both teams would’ve been in double bonus by the under 8 timeout at the latest.
This is not a question of was it a foul or not, it clearly was by the rules of the game. This is a question of should the refs swallow the whistle in a big moment like this, particularly when they have been doing it all game. This same thing happened in the super bowl. There is an argument to be made for both sides. we can get into what if scenarios all day but at the end of the day it wasn't a bad call it was a questionable call and questionable calls are going to be part of sports as long as we have human refs. Somtimes you are on the right side of it sometimes not, that's sports. Congrats SDSU

For how tall 11 is, he really should have secured more rebounds. All he did was tip and poke at the ball instead of going up and grabbing it.
This draft would be one of the best in centuries. This kids are really really good
After all the stuff that occurred during the game, the official that made that call should've swallowed his whistle.
FYI that was a foul at the end. SDSU representing Cali all the way to the final four wow!
So close to reach for the Final Four
5 vs 9 and 5 vs 4, the final four boutta be crazy 🔥 I think uconn take it but I'm rooting for fau
The door is wide open take your pick I like door number 4 to win it easy. 🐶
I think UConn beats Miami by about 15 and wins the natty by 20 with absolutely no trouble
@@andrewblakeslee8709You were close lol.
SDSU Alumni Got to Love It
They deleted a lot of comments when they took the video down
I know y’all aren’t complaining about that call 🤣 Every single one of you would be whining for a foul if you got shoved from behind while taking a floater 😂😂
WOW! Good game San Diego State!
That was a horrible way to decide who is going to the final four. If I was asked who won that game I would say the refs.
West Coast 👏👏👏
UCON will NoT be stopped. They will Crush anyone and Anything. 💪
Creighton that's a tough loss wowwwwww!
Disgusting call by the ref to end the game like this
It was definitely a foul
Bad foul too he really didn’t have to push off on his hip and send him flying which probably sold the call more 😂😂😂
we need the full game
Wow these two teams🎉 its begining to be a lil bit of a rivary last year in ot Creighton won this year controversy hopfully they make more turneys then they can face eachother more.Let it Fly CU! Go Jays!
and oh yeah a foul is a foul so call it.because if was the other way around we would be cheering right now saying it was a good call.😅
I agree with some of these comments....to make a foul call like that so close to the end after letting so much go during the game
You have to call it. A foul is a foul no matter what time of the game it happens.
Did you say that when they let a few calls go? I'm not saying don't call fouls, I am just saying calling the foul at 1.2 seconds left is not a good policy when it wasn't an obvious one.
@@andrewblack293 yeah they let calls go all game, kalkbrenner having only 1 FT makes no sense, he got fouled at least 3-4 times on shot attempts. you are completely right these refs were complete garbo
And why was it determined the game was over with 1.2 seconds left???
It wasn't. Creighton had one last play and they threw a long pass down the other court and it was smacked out of bounce at around 0.3 seconds. Then the game was over.
Horrible call on that last foul
Im so happy
Yeah I would've let them go to OT foul shots should've been given but congrats to the Aztecs they been good for awhile they were due
Was rooting for San Diego but not a fan of the foul call. I went through this same situation as the offensive player going up for the game winning shot. Defender had his hand on my hip/ back same as here but the ref didn’t give me the call. Everyone else complained to the ref for not calling the foul but I agreed with the ref tbh. It was contact but I ultimately still had a good chance to hit the shot
so you're really just sour, about the no call on your personal experience?
Exactly. Wanted San Diego but that was such a weak call at the end of the game
Nah not sour at all. I’m just saying I think the ref could’ve let it play
Now we have a great game;
Tough call and unfortunate to have to call a foul at the end but refs had to call that.
He clearly had his forearm on his back and pushed off. Too bad.
Great Match 👍😎😎
