Jermaine broke away from the Jackson 5 group because he wanted to marry Berry Gordy's daughter. And he was tired of taking beatdowns from his father and from pressing them to work so hard. So when he married Barry Gordy's daughter that was the end of him and the Jackson 5. I don't think that they spoke for a long time and Jermaine said to the group that he was upset because they didn't include him in anything but he's the one who left the group. Everybody else stayed in the group and worked extremely hard and I think that Jermaine was tired of Joe Jackson's physical and verbal abuse. And Jermaine was my favorite.
