Do you use Linux for any Local Open Source AI tools?
Windows for now LMStudio. ALso in Linux I need Wayland, is it Wayland this one ?
@@ChuckNorris-lf6vo do you game on Linux? You use Wayland over X11? I don't think there's a wrong answer. I don't game on Linux, at least not yet, so I might not be a huge help here.
LMStudio is awesome, I might do a series on that later. I wanted to do all open source and CPU only for this one though 🙂
@@theit-unicorn1873 Wayland = faster feels faster I am very sensitive to latency I can feel submilisecond latencies. Also consumes less CPU resources which I can feel while using the machine. Fedora has good Wayland and Nvidia I think compared to Arch and Ubuntu. I can do CS2 but I need Quake Champions on Linux maybe I should complain to idsoftware and bethesda about it. Windows is very weird and the latest CVEs make me want to remove it from my systems. I dont know of any LLMs that can use CPU only no one talked about those in detail.

@BrianCullen85 mainly the familiarity of Mint in the community. You could replicate this on most Debian based distros. Nothing Mint specific at the moment, but we will see. Thanks!

It should, Mint is Ubuntu based, Ubuntu is Debian based.
