I walked on the world’s second largest glacial system | Snowlake Trek | An epic journey

The journey starts from Askole and spanning 127km and a maximum elevation of 5,100m, ends at Hisper Village. I have done K2 base camp, Everest base camp and GGLA but this tops it all.
A lovely combination of awe, myth, beauty, 6000m plus peaks, glaciers and life threatening crevasses that keep you on your toes.
In this video you will walk on Biafo and Hisper Glaciers, cross a number of deadly crevasses, have lunch on top of ice, see the wonderland that awaits you on the other side of Hisper La and watch Karakoram, up close and personal.
The hike starts from Askole and over 11 days makes stops at Namla, Shafong, Baintha, Marfogoro, Karfogoro, Hisper La, Khani Byasa, Khwari Shingal, Iskambri, Beetanmal, before ending at Hisper village.
